No sympathy with Sheffield United, remember we had that goal disallowed against them in a televised game up there, very similar circumstances but not even malfunctioning tech to fall back onI thought that they cannot make a decision on goal line technology - I thought the referee has a device that buzzes - if he was told it’s working and there is no buzz he can’t intervene can he?
Mings should have been booked.
"I think in normal circumstances Ming would expect to be booked there"
What's stopping him from being booked?
Sounds like another belter from the best league in the world

OK, sounds like a cracking gameThanks for bringing the bitter old man vibes to the thread.
More importantly this point could keep Villa up and deprive us of our local derby.Imagine if Sheff Utd miss out in the champions league by a point because of that.
Don't give the bitter old man vibes, it was 'finely poised' and the two sides 'cancelled each other out'Dreadful game, let's hope the Man City v Arsenal game is the opposite.

Shocking, confirmed it was a goal but the view was blocked by players. What an awful statement

Brilliant. ‘Never in over 9000 games’...‘view obstructed by players and post’...everyone in the country saw it.

Ozil not playing and it will be addressed after the game?
I'm confused by this statement, isn't there normally a graphic that shows an image from above the crossbar, showing if the ball has crossed the line. How did this view become blocked by players
But the camera I was watching showed the ball over the line. Different angles too.Dont quote me on this, but I think that is a digital animation put together using all the cameras available. If they were blocked, I suppose they cant create that animation.

I think Hawk Eye are just covering themselves. They cannot take responsibility of the linesman or the multiple other cameras in the stadium. What an awful statement
