I've been shot at by a few. Directly once or twice, and indirectly 3 or 4 times daily. Mortars and chinese rockets at least 3 times daily. I cut a man from a car at the gates of Basra air base after he was chained in to it and forced against his will to drive it and the bomb in it to kill me. I have also smelt the burning flesh of a man whose car bomb did go off.

I also sat and watched the whole world recording a good friend and colleague of mine get butchered in London by unstable terrorists!
