Has anyone else heard a rumour that he's off to Peterborough ?????

Apologies if it's already been discussed on here.

I hope not I prefer Biamou over baka any day of the week......PUSB

Personally I prefer Biamou just think he works better to our style and got abit of class about him in his finishing than baka

What adds more fuel to this is that I haven't seen one picture with him at the celebrations apart from the one at someone's house, on the Tuesday we found out...PUSB

Love Biamou, the effort he's put in for the club after coming from non-league is amazing.
Then handling the jump up leagues fairly well and always putting a shift in is a credit to his work ethic. But I honestly think the championship might be too much for him, and if we can get any kind of decent money for him, at his age, id take it.

If true and If we replace him with a better player so be it, this time last year most of us were happy with our progress and looking forward to challenging this season, we did, and we won the league with almost a totally different team player wise.

If I had to guess I'd say Biamou has just been allowed back home to France to see his family now their restrictions are lifted and our season has ended

I did think it's odd that he hasn't posted anything on social media recently.

Can understand him not being at the trophy presentation as he's likely back in France, but no posts about winning the title does seem odd.

Probably nothing, just seems unlike him.

I think it's inevitable he'll go as if we bring in another ST - which I think we will - his game time will surely be limited to non-existant.

He’s approaching 30 this year and is now at an age where he'll want to play at a club that can guarantee him games, rather than play somewhere where he’s featuring in U23 games every other week.

It's always sad to lose a fans' favourite and he has scored some wonderful goals. But at 29 I guess it's good business if we can get, say, £500k or equivalent.

It's odd that he hasn't posted anything as he should be buzzing about playing as high as the championship after being non league only a few yrs ago. I suspect he has been told to find a new club that he's not part of the plans especially with keeping Baka on

We wouldn't get anywhere near £500K.

I'd say we'd be lucky to get £100-150K tops.

Well there is no point in arguing because it will be undisclosed anyway. However, bear in mind that he's a striker and in addition to chipping in some spectacular goals he holds the ball up well and wins most everything in the air. How many strikers the right side of 30 sell for £150k tops? Not many, I bet.

I'd be actually pretty gutted if he was to go. Wpuld love to see him in the Championship and think as a big strong striker he could certainly do a job. Thought against Birmingham he was great and whenever he came on in the 2nd part of the season I thought he was going to score.

It is odd he hasn't posted anything hope he is all good. And he deserves a shot at the championship he has proved supporters and even Mark Robins that he is a valuable member of the squad

Firstly, I really hope everything is okay with him, it does seem slightly strange his silence on the League title. With that said, if we want to be competitive in the Championship we will have to be ruthless with some players. It was the same with League Two to League One. Noone wanted to see Grimmer go, but Robins brought in Dujon and then Dabo and both were considerable upgrades. Without getting into the Grendel vs the World debate, I don't think many fans would truly say Max is a Championship standard striker, so on a personal level on him being a top bloke and the memorable goals he's scored, it would be sad, but I also think footballing decisions need to be made. If he was to stay, I'd obviously hope he upped his game and back him, but I do think it may be a step too far. Whatever happens, wish him well.

If there was 10 mins to go and you need a physical presence you'd choose Biamou over Baka.

However Baka is obviously younger and has higher potential.

With Hiwula going I can see us signing two strikers which means one of Baka or Biamou going. Maybe even both with Baka being loaned out.

For the championship having a front 3 including max and baka surely ain’t gonna be good enough, it’s a sad thing because of how well all of them have played but we need a new forward...maybe send max/baka on loan?

I think he’s a championship striker now and an integral part of the team that were promoted as champions of league 1. I think that puts a premium on his purchase for a team in league 1. I’d be surprised if he went for as little as £150k but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been told already that if he wanted to take the time to find another challenge then MR wouldn’t stand in his way
