He's just put on twitter he is leaving Man U to play regular first team football.

Just a shame he's way out of our league... of course the embargo doesn't help matters either to be honest.

If we can get our accounts sorted, and if Gael goes, and if SISU become competent then......

I'd have him.

i think he did a good job for us and spread the ball about well from the middle, shame we'd never get him back

1. the transfer embargo
2. couldn't afford him
3. too good a player for league 1

Heard a rumour from a Burnley supporting work colleague (Norwood is from Burnley) that Barnsley and Burnley are battling it out for his signature and the asking price is between £250k and £500k. Apparently he would've loved to come back to us but wants to play at Championship level, however he was in Burnley recently and talking very fondly of his time at Cov and apparently seemed genuinely gutted at our relegation.

Good on him.. Would love him back but we won't get him.

Its nice to see someone leaving for first team football, especially from a big club. Too many players sit on the benches now adays just to earn x amount more.

Burnley, Barnsley and Huddersfield interested in him I believe. Probably plenty more too.

You can see "Turf Moor" from his parents house. There's only going to be one winner for his signature. Good luck to the lad.:claping hands:

I think he lives in Burnley so he will probably want to sign for them.

Does anyone think he would join us if we could afford it?

A lot of players would join us if we could afford and be prepared to pay them.

We may be in Div3 but we are a bigger club than where we find ourselves. Players love to be worshiped. We will have big crowds for the division. It would only take one season to get the ball rolling. We have a good base of players to start with. It would not take too much for us to have a good season. Players get recognised when in a winning team.

We have SISU though. He will cost a fee because of his age, so however much he might want to come to us I can't see it happening, although whoever does sign him will have a player worth more than he will cost to sign once under contract. It would be a shock but maybe we need to sell a player to sign him. He cared whilst playing for us. Maybe he has unfinished business with us and SISU can see the pound signs in a season or two.

we'd be in a very strong position seeing as he's played here and from all reports really enjoyed it here. any other owner would be fighting tooth and nail to get a player like him on a permanent move, we probably won't even be out of the embargo by the time he signs for someone.

He mlght be out of contract, but he will command a fee as he is under 24. How generous would Manure be? It would be good for Ollie as he knows the setup, the lads and AT. Is he one of the players AT says he has lined up?

No-one at Sisu has the vision to know that he would be a great signing for us. Even if the embargo was lifted tomorrow, I doubt there would be any move for him from CCFC - our owners are not interested in football except to sell players.

Wouldnt be shocked for AT to mention him in the coming days, followed by "we cant compete" line.

I agrre, ccfcway; but the 'we can't compete' line should really be 'we won't compete'.

Whether he would cost a fee or not. He is championship class. That is where he should be. A championship club will offer him a job and better wages.

Sorry folks. Just can't see it.

Would love to see him in a CCFC shirt again, but there's no chance of it happening. The way him and Clarke could link up like they'd played together for years was immense! Shame there wasn't enough end product from some of their play.

As said above, he's definately Championship class ATM, but info believe he will be a prem star in years to come, even if it's not with one of the bigger boys
