Is it time to draw a line under Sisu's record and now accept that, over the post 3 years, Sisu have been responsible owners and owners many league clubs would envy ? Sound management, supportive management, ambitious owners and a desire to make amends from all mistakes made. Yes, in the past they cocked up big time and alienated supporters, but I now think they deserve credit for the last three years. I really believe they now have learned lessons and have become responsible owners. With many league clubs on the verge of going into administration, Coventry City is now well equipped to launch an attack on the Championship. I know many still hold a grudge and always will, but surely now it is time to draw a line and recognize what SISU have done in recent years ?

Whatever your take on the stadium situation they have still overseen a scenario where we are playing games outside of the city. No club would be envious of that.

If you can overlook that, then yes they've been good in the last 3 years.

I think it is only fair that we must give credit when it is due. The last 3 seasons, since Mark Robins came back have been brilliant, the club has brought the fans back with the club, brought back an identity. They have clearly backed Robins and I think that Chekatrade Final was the turning point.
They deserved credit for that and I alomg with many hope they continue and we can push on and ultimately reach the promise land.

They quite rightly got criticism before and the way they handled the Northampton ground share was poor, but I they learnt from that and I think the way they handled last year and the circumstances that surrounded it was why many fans went to St Andrews.

There was a time where I felt they had given up and wer ehappy to see the club run into the ground but the last 3 years have given hope and success and now we are back in the Championship, where they found us. Now we have something we never had there before, a winning mentality and forward momentum.

Technically they took over a failing business, made it worse and have now got it back to where the started from just without an outlet in the local area.

SISU's record over the last few seasons can not be overlooked in terms of getting focussed on football, and letting a good manager manage with the express support needed. They needed to do that to stand any chance of exiting their own nightmare. But they will need to continue to do so a little longer, and be back playing at the Ricoh before we can all claim to be have 'reasonable' owners in any way. But credit where it's due and may it continue. I wish them success with their exit strategy.

Since Boddy came in: everything bar the stadium situation has been great. Stadium situation is kind of a big deal though, and we’re yet to kick a ball in the Championship and could well come straight back down, so not quite where we were when they picked us up yet.

Nuance isn’t a place in France, it doesn’t have to be “everything Sisu do is evil” or “everything Sisu do is amazing and all is forgiven”, you can agree with bits and disagree with others.

It needs to be acknowledged that they've run the club well over the past few years, but again much of that has been down to what has happened on the pitch. They brought the management team in (and if MR hadn't left first time round maybe we'd be doing even better already) so have to have credit for that.

But by no means should that mean we forget the bullshit of the past (and still on going). A leopard doesn't change its spots.

I think with the current business model we can't go wrong. The club has been transformed from the mess it once was. Ricoh deal (which is a huge deal to settle) will be the icing on the cake and should see the club move to the next level imo

If we didnt get a slice of luck in the Notts County game
If Last season had been declared null and void instead of PPG

Either of those scenarios could have been disastrous for us

Yeah mainly agree with this.

Seems they've pretty much let Boddy and Robins get on with running the club.
They should have credit for re-hiring Robins, and the fact that Fisher is almost non existent is a massive bonus too.

All in all they've improved recently, but that's not exactly difficult considering the shit show they'd presided over previously.

I’ll never forgive them for what they did. They gave us some awful times, times when we were questioning how long we would have a club for. Fishers interviews and almost laughable claims. They will never be forgotten.

However the noticeable improvement cannot be ignored and has to be applauded. They’ve finally begun to run the club as a club and they are seeing the benefits. Long may it continue.

It's a better model than most in football. In most other industries it'd still be considered batshit crazy and unsustainable.

But if they can get a deal for the stadium sorted and/or make us comfortable in this division then I'll say yes, we're ahead of where we were when they took over.

Yeah if we're going to blame them when things go wrong then we have to give some credit when things go right, it can't be one or the other. Laughable when people say the current situation is in spite of the board and owners, as if MR somehow appeared at Ryton by accident.

Ensure that MR continues to be backed so we have a decent crack at the Championship (as in, safely in top half) AND have some sort of stadium resolution - ie, Ricoh long term which works in our favour, not Wasps, or short term with plans for Coventry based alternative (unlikely I know) and I'll have forgiven.

Like many on here...the last 3 years you cannot argue which much of what they've done.

The stadium situation though is partly their doing and needs sorted before it can be even considered to be totally forgiven.

I made peace with them over the past year were defo moving in the right direction long may it continue
