Not always sure that last minute blocks are what the manager will look for as good as they might look. The idea is to reduce the need for them occurring.

I said before but on one of the highlights reels there is a clip of Pask in a chase with Ryan Kent, he intercepts the ball so coolly, really looked the part.
Very true about it being better to anticipate things to avoid desperate blocks but Drysdale is only 20 and will learn the game especially with guys like McFadz around
His bravery and physique set him apart from most other young centre backs
Once he gets experience the sky could be the limit

Drysdale is also happy with ball at feet likes to play calm & composed in possession

Yeah, bit weird! I get that we need wide options, but we have that now, especially after our last signing and with Jones and Jobello to come back.
Can only assume MR does not think one or two of the players you listed as wide players are not up to Champuonship standard. FOR where we want to go i have doubts about 3 or 4 of the current squad. MR has shown he is adept at aligning the squad quility with the league and i think there will be trading out and loan in between now and the start of the season .

Pask was excellent, but I already thought that :p

I thought Drysdale was a lot further along than I expected.

What about Morgan Williams, people seem to not be putting him in the mix and he’s supposed to be really highly regarded, often captain

Also let that ball over the top at the start of the first half sail over his head and almost let Morelos in. Good prospect but has a lot to learn.
Yeah agree

On Twitter you would think he is Maldini the way some cov fans get excited

Same fabs put down hilsner though? All based off a friendly

Odd

A lot of people have pre-conceived notions of how good a player is based on how excited they are by the signing and will latch onto the smaller mistakes or poor performance to show that they were ‘right’. Look at how Baka was treated (and is still treated by some) in his first few games for the club.

He got caught cold and under the ball they haven’t played in how long ? With 12 days training marking him down on that is slightly harsh he’s very young will learn as he goes on but let’s be honest he’s a very very good prospect.

Drysdale did well and made some great blocks but didn't he also that terrible suicide pass backwards straight to a rangers player?
He sure did, was wondering when someone was gonna point that out! He also needs a haircut. But don't we all.

Are they that rabid and extreme? Like you say, it was just 45 mins when we'd been starved of football, by all means read a bit too much into it, but have some sense of perspective eh? FB and Twitter really have retarded IQ's massively, haven't they? I thought some of the O'Hare sucking off was pathetic (don't beg him, if you make us look desperate you strengthen his negotiating hand!) and seem to remember it was similiar for Grimmer, who lets face it, was a decent L2 full back at best but not really good enough for where we wanted to be. And why do kids dance and strike poses all the time? Is it all because of Instagram and playing Fortnite as I'm told? Then when you see festival footage, they don't actually dance when there's actually music playing, cos they're too busy waving their lame flags, filming everything on their phones or striking poses. It's the "Meeeeee Generation". If I was Dictator, I'd ban anyone under 18 from being allowed on social media, for their own good. And no dancing allowed outside of a) clubs b) gigs c) parties d) football celebrations e) sexual seducations between two consenting adults.

Yep was definitely Hilssner.

Unless there was another one by Drysdale that I've forgotten about.

Also he did get caught out by that long ball early on but to be honest it was a great ball that perfectly dissected the defence

1st half, tried to play it out to the right when it wasn't on and went straight to a Rangers player, led to a chance.

That is our system. But don't you think it's good to have the option of sacrificing a CB to bring a winger into play if the system isn't working against certain opposition and we need more bodies at the right end of the pitch? Good to be dynamic.

But don't we have Jones? and Jobello? and Hilssner? How many wing options do you need to change it up as a back-up?
