We have made him take an extension of just the 1 year when his agent clearly was doing the big up tactic. To be fair to him his career is pretty awful other than last season and he needs to play. He could not feature next season be turfed out and left with no career

It’s his agents job to link him with high profile clubs. Look at Bayliss and McCallum linked to all the big Prem clubs and end up at a much smaller club, the small club fans thinks they’ve got a great coup ahead of all these big clubs but the big club was never interested.

It didn’t take much working out that a player who wasn’t getting into our side wasn’t going to end up at a future Premier League side

Exactly why they do it. I get bits occasionally which I might share with a couple of select others who I know won't broadcast, so find it annoying when others do. Part of the reason I don't spread it everywhere is do that I continue to get told other bits which they wouldn't if it kept getting out.
