I highly doubt that the tweet was about Shipley being offered what he might perceive to be better terms. I mean, Cov players aren't exactly the most level headed on social media (witness Hickman's fiasco last year), but given how Shipley was in a pretty similar situation (coming off the bench for the most part), I doubt there is any jealousy there. More likely that something with his agent or personal life has pissed him off.

No. Shipley certainly contributed more last season, than Bayliss did the season before last.
I appreciate we probably had to sell Bayliss last summer, but I feel like he would’ve really prospered in that 4-3-3, the. 3-4-2-1 system we played last season.

Love the optimism. We have a lot of players who haven’t played at this level before, coupled with the new transfers.
Fully support MR but there has to be question marks about how players like Biamou, Jones, mason etc will cope in championship ?

We need to let the transfer window finish before we start questioning any players just yet. There will have to be movement out of the club.
There will be, Westbrook looks like one but we have had atleast one player linked to a bigger club so it is a case of wait and see.
Got to ask why Jones ?

Westbrooke played his part for us last season and is a neat tidy player with the odd goal in him. I suspect however he will not be dynamic enough to feature regularly in the Championship barring injuries, and will be down the midfield pecking order behind Kelly, Hamer, Shipley, O'Hare and Allen, so it makes some sense for him and us to move on. I would nevertheless be happy for him to stay, as good squad back up, but if he does leave I wish him well and hope that he finds a footballing team that will suit his style of play. I thought last season Bristol Rovers were a fairly functional direct team, so unless they plan to change that style, I wouldn't be sure that would be a good move for him though.
He lives by me and I’ve seen him training daily for weeks there’s no question his physical fitness, he has plenty of natural ability enough to attract the attention of higher clubs a couple of seasons ago, that doesn’t go away, his injury ? well time will tell on that but Callum Wilson as an example had two one after the other and came back as good as ever, Jones will be okay.

Pre injury Jodi Jones looked like he might have been Championship level. Post injury, we are all hoping, but understandably sceptical. Hope he is fit, enough, and good enough. One who will definitely need game time, and will have to really impress pre season to get that. I'd be tempted to let him out on loan between now and Christmas to get games under his belt.
