Only 32 days until season start and its all gone quiet.

No outgoing players
No more incoming for a while
No kit
No season tickets

I'm not having a go but its gone a bit too quiet for my liking. I think there needs to be a bit of a hurry up all round. Missing vital income from the kit and of course ST's Memberships, ifollow whatever that may be.

Also I've seen online fans of leeds, wycombe and Swindon have been having pics with the trophys. The clubs arranging (socially distanced of course) photo ops. Would be good if the club did something similar as im sure we would all love to see the trophy in all its glory.

Am i bored? Overthinking? Just a general miserable bastard?

to add to the list of misery, I was enjoying watching the games that have been on since the restart just to get a much needed football fix but the novelty of BCDs has totally worn off, it's fucking shite.
Might be different with City involved but it's just so lacking compared to games with crowds.

I know what you mean. I was exact the same with stans after the first game. Shite

4 more signings would be nice, 2 permanents and two younger loan players would be nice so with the comment above of do we expect a signing a week... my answer would be yes please. 4 signings should see us right.

In an ideal world my 4 signings would be... Panzo, Garbutt, Sheaf and Shankland or Ugbo.

That would mean Garbutt and Sheaf permanent. Ugbo and Panzo on loan. If we got those four then I’d be bloody excited

We aren’t going to get Panzo by the looks of it they want to sell him not loan him out. Can’t see us splashing on a LWB after we’ve bought Giles in either. Could see Sheaf/Wolves kid and a striker. After that genuinely not sure what position is sign. Maybe CB if a good one came up.

I’d be tempted to leave budget for January if we can just because we don’t really know yet who will make the step up to Championship level.

I don't think it is just the impact from COVID stuff, we're probably a bit spoiled by the excellent organisation of recent seasons too.

It's been an age since a competitive game and we'd already played twice this time last year.

Transfer business has generally been done really early and this year finally having a progressive settled squad has seen less movement in and out, which I suppose feels less exciting despite it being a good thing.

No evening with Mark Robins/kit launch to look forward to.

No pre-released list of pre-season friendlies to look forward to and no buzz about seeing the new signings in the flesh.

No fixture lists out yet.

Add in things like: no promotion party, still a month to go until the season starts, BCD games, an extended stay in Birmingham when fans are able to go back, No hols to pass the time so no coming back from 2 weeks in the sun to catch up on all things city.

Just feels like the edge has been taken off it. Even for myself as an overseas fan, the no Ricoh/Birmingham announcement, piggy backed onto the hope-inducing Warwick stadium announcement, was a massive body blow.

This is my first ever post to this forum. I’ve been skulking In the shadows... but I’m bored, overthink everything and I’m an incredibly miserable bastard.

But I’m quite excited by the squad and MR is just a complete legend.

Welcome to you Monte78, I hope your think skinned.
