Good job Oggy has left would need one specially made, that would put a dent in the budget.I wonder if they will make facemasks compulsory?

Government guidance hasn't made them compulsory but a private enterprise can do what they want. They can't make face masks compulsory. Face masks aren't compulsory now, so says the guidance.
They can refuse you entry to the ground for whatever reason they want. They can't make face masks compulsory. Face masks aren't compulsory now, so says the guidance.

With the amount of shouting that will inevitably happen at a football match (and associated spit-ball lips) i’d be quite surprised if they didn’t make them compulsory. CCFC branded ones could make some dosh for the club too!

No shouting allowed
Football fans won't be allowed to sing or chant when they return
Fans will have to take responsibility by agreeing to rules on behaviour before they're allowed inside stadiums again and that is likely to include a ban on singing and chanting.www.google.co.uk
I wonder too! But hey-ho....it'll soon be Monday so we can all pile in pubs and restaurants for 50% off food. BizarreI wonder if they will make facemasks compulsory?
So they will probably do what everyone else does and make it a ‘rule’ that they won’t enforce and that loads will ignore. Which is all well and good until the evidence starts emerging of spikes in infection rates after games (such as the Liverpool /Madrid game) and they make it all BCD again. I guess ultimately if fans don’t behave then it will lead to no fans again. The guidance includes exemptions. If an establishment chooses to query a person who classifies themselves as exempt (not wearing a mask) then they risk being fined under the Equality Act of 2010 because of discrimination for singling a person out for proof of medical history, condition or otherwise.
This is why all major retail establishments DO NOT challenge people who do not wear a mask.
The fine is up to £5,000 and up to £9,000 compensation for the individual.
The executive guidance from the Government is classed as civil law, therefore not even the Police can enforce it, as they are there to uphold criminal law only.
Can you imagine nobody shouting at a football match? Or even them policing it? Can still see shouting, banned or not. Sometimes people react without thinking first! Although Burge leaving helps with that one...No shouting allowed

No.If somebody is exempt then don't they need to display something that says they are?
Unfortunately, the 'no one gives a shit' members of society will mean its less likely that football grounds will be allowed to open.Good luck stopping shouting and singing
Who makes this garbage it’s like the 14 day quarantine I don’t know anyone who’s done it nobody gives a shit bit Boris keeps adding countries to the list their so out of touch with reality
No.
Some choose to voluntarily, to stop people asking, but no compulsion.
Do you mean Dominic Cummings....as he's made up his own rules and Boris says that's fine!Unfortunately, the 'no one gives a shit' members of society will mean its less likely that football grounds will be allowed to open.

Thatchers children are now running around as adults, bought up being told there is no society and not to give a shit about anything but what's best for them.I'm certainly no fan of Johnson and his cronies. You're right, the problem with the Cummins affair is that it makes people less likely to follow the guidance.
However, there does seem to be a sizable proportion of society who have a 'don't give a shit' attitude that will inevitably make the situation worse and make the further opening up of restrictions less likely.
Thing is you can’t expect people to get evidence of their mental illness that prevents them from wearing one. I don’t mean that in a sarcy way, severe anxiety, for example, can be one valid reason for not wearing one but nobody wants to admit their mental (or physical) health state in a queue of strangers. In which case if people don't have something to say they are exempt they shouldn't moan if asked to put one on!

I find it concerning that society has been altered to view freedom as being selfish.
