Well, I've adapted the great thread from bringbackrattles, especially as very few are choosing one player!
Your 5-a-side team from Coventry players....
Keeper - I considered going modern with marosi for his distribution, but no, Hedman as a good solid choice.
Defender - Breen (if only I could have a team ...)
Midfield - McAllister to provide some guile and for any free kick.
Midfield - Wise. Quality player and a bit of bite in the middle.
Attack - Dion. Goals, assists and can help at back if under pressure.
Sub - Speedie (fave player, so I needed to give him a space!).
Probably wouldn't win a sky blue tournament, but enjoyable to watch. 😀

Oggy- a keeper who can score
Bugsy- as Mr consistent
Boateng- bit of ball winning and play making
Bennett- skills and speed
Keane- natural finisher

1st Sub- Hadji
2nd sub- Whelan
3rd sub- Regis
Might win afew trophies with that..PUSB

You should have just put Speedie in goal like we did in the Guinness Soccer Sixes back in 1988. He scored whilst playing as a keeper.

Blimey, you've got a good memory! Bet Speedie doesn't even remember that.

A 6-a-side competition in December with all top flight clubs taking part. It would be huge if they did it now.

Pretty easy , you need agile players in 5 a side and players who read the game quickly

Westwood - had the best reflexes of any keeper ive seen , wouldn’t have to worry about crosses
Gillespie - peerless , the best centre back we’ve had
McAllister - massively underrated by some of our fans , great passer , scores goals too
Speedie - God
Keane - tricky one as the forward needs to be quickfooted and a goal scorer , could’ve easily picked Whelan or Ndlovu

Sub - Micky Gynn - Duracell on acid , workrate supreme

5-a-side needs good technical players.

Marosi in goal - sweeper keeper.
At the back you could have either Peake or Babb from who I've seen. I know a few a little older than me would chose Gillespie but only having seen him in his second stint I'd be going off reputation.
Midfield McAllister for his distribution.
Attacking Ndlovu cos he had great ball control and Keane cos he's a natural finisher and also has the technical side

Hutch would probably be in there but didn't see him play for us professionally.
