I'm surprised I've not seen anything posted on here about the actual EFL trophy going on tour. L&W Supporters club had the trophy from the club and took it on a whistle stop tour around Stratford, Warwick, Leamington, Kenilworth etc to various pubs so that everyone could have their photos taken with it. Put on some great events right over the weekend, especially at the Bell in Shottery with other stuff going on at the same time for kids/family. We had some great photos (with disposable gloves so the trophy didn't get ruined). Top event, hopefully none of you missed it, but I think they still have possession of it in case anyone specifically wants something sorting.

Tbh I'm amazed the club haven't been promoting it and taking it around Cov, but if anyone in Warks missed it let me know asap and we'll see if something can be set up as it will be back with the club very soon.

Also had samples of the new shirts (home and away). The away has a design across it that can't be seen on the photos and is by far the best (imo). Also has 'We are Cov' along the back at the inside base, which is a nice touch, but would have been better on the outside.

It was a great idea. Took my boys to Murphys on Monday. Good to see the supporters club in that area being proactive in doing things like this... Shame things like this can't be done in the actual city (forgetting the fact we do not play there).

Hear hear Rob. Big shout out to Paul Howes who quietly does a huge amount of behind the scenes stuff. without any self attention seeking. Top lad, huge CCFC fan and deserving of every CCFC fan's support in the area. Will be fundraising events cropping up, player's shirt raffles. football cards etc, all profits of which are ploughed back into CCFC (players boots purchased, match sponsorship etc) Fantastic work.

Totally agree mate, unsung hero. If I ever win the euromillions and buy the club he'd be one of the first people I'd get on board, City through and through.

Brilliant initiative and great work from Ccfc and the supporters group. When we spoke to Dave he spoke about moving on and getting on with the job and on balance id prefer the club to focus on this season rather than celebrating last but it really is a balance. Let’s hope the successes haven’t stopped

I hear what you say Pete. I think it's important that fan groups/supporters clubs are still as active as possible to ensure that the feelgood factor built up over the last few seasons is not dissipated by the BCD/Cov-id situation. Similarly I think the club would be wise to maintain the links that have been established. We are still not out of the woods as a club, by any stretch of the imagination, and groups such as these could be vital in terms of support and getting messages out to the fanbase if we hit any bumps in the road.
