Afternoon assorted Coventry folk,

I had obviously joined this chat at some point in the past as I had a reminder by email of “new topics” on here :)

So I thought I’d log in and wish you a warm welcome back to the Championship.
My sincere apologies you had to put up with going to shitholes like the Memorial Ground and playing the Rovers.

Shame we all can’t be there at Ashton Gate for our first game.

Glad to see Coventry back and it is a very interesting first test for Holden in charge at City.
I suspect you will be a tough opponent having come back up.

Here’s to the 12th!

I can really comment on Liam Walsh to be honest.
I think I’ve seen him play just twice.

I am not sure if he’s a part of Holden’s plans or not.

I think though he’s going to be competing with Massengo (who we paid £8m to Monaco for) and Nagy who plays for Hungary?

I do know he had a very good season with you.
Good to have as an option.

Unless I misread things I can’t imagine he’ll start v Coventry.

I wouldn’t be surprised at a draw between us btw. We are notorious poor starters and also end of season play off chokers (under Johnson :) )

Is he this good????
Trying to remember when I saw him play, may have been against Derby.

I think I thought he was a bit lightweight.
I don’t think he was in Johnson’s plans, hence shipping him off to Coventry.

Holden seems to differ to Johnson already so be interesting.

Have you heard he’s leaving?
I’ve read nothing on him lately in the news.

I’m quite sad there’s no fans too.
I’ve been twice to your gaff.

Once was in the FA Cup where you sacked Micky Adams the next day.
Think it was 0-2 may have been 1-2.

Other was season you went down.
I don’t think we won. Might have been a draw but you could tell you were in absolute crisis.
Lot of booing about owners etc.

Nice to see you back.

The return at Ashton Gate was piss poor from both and it pissed down as well.

We do well at Birmingham traditionally.

Conversely we get hammered regularly at West Brom and Villa so I don’t miss playing them at all.
Exactly how we perform at those grounds in general, although we do miss playing The Vile.
