We going to have a squad full of hotshots, a great investment plan and challenging to win the league, oh and apparently we have been told we are also having Jam.

The transfer embargo has been lifted on Coventry City after the club filed its accounts and they were signed off by the Football League.

Chief executive Tim Fisher said: "This is positive news for the club on many levels.

"In short, the lifting of the embargo means that the club can start to move forward with plans we have for the new season.

"We now move on. Recently, whomever I have spoken to or met, has asked the same, simple question - when is the embargo going to be lifted?

"Everyone has recognised that to move forward, we need to start trading again.

"Lifting the embargo will provide a big boost for everyone at the club.

"Andy Thorn and Steve Waggott can now push on with implementing the squad plans they have worked so hard to put together in readiness for this decision."

It's a step in the right direction, but let's not kid ourselves that all of a sudden everything's ok. It's unlikely a flood of signings will come through the door and most likely we'll have to wait for departures 1st.

For some people however many we sign it will not be enough. If we sign 10 we need 11.

2 x strikers
3 x midfielders, of which, at least one is a winger.

dont lose any more than Craine at the back and dont sell Keogh, he has 1 year left to go. £400k now, or possibility of going back up !!, hmm.

Dont think I am being too unrealistic, looking for a net incresae of 4 to the current squad.

If they do that before 30th June, I will get my season ticket.

I'm not. Good luck to them, mearly poinng out that SISU are not going to bend over backwards to try and get a couple of hundred more, when they know the majority of those who will get one, already have one.

If they have to spend £500k to get an extra 2000 season tickets, then income at £250 each would be £500k, so hardly worth them investing to try and please the fans
