Just before the insects got the ricoh, never anyone on the turnstiles.....think it may have been concession tickets. Like i said, we were really shit and probably just doing the club a favour by turning up haha! Oh the dark days!happens at every club no doubt
word of the day contenderI just hope no-one who illegally streams the games has the temerity to moan about any lack of investment in the near future if we're struggling and can't afford to buy anyone in Jan.
Robbie mate, I doubt there are very many people on here that haven't watched an illegal stream of some sort or purchased a copied movie on DVD a few years back.... ALL BREAKING THE LAW .. Infact nick himself says he does but not with city... So I mean there's clearly alot of hypocrisy within this whole debate... The term grass is just another word for telling on people, it's a perfectly reasonable phrase.
Give yourself a pat on the back though if reporting streams are your thing...most people just think its a bit sad
Yeah there is a lot of hypocrisy with piracy. I pirate movies, though I also have Netflix and Disney+ subs and go to the cinema. It’s wrong, but my rationale is they’re massive organisations and frankly I don’t mind if a couple go bust. Cheating your club out of income is different IMO. It’s the difference between shoplifting in Tesco and stealing your nans last tenner.
Especially as I don’t sit here whining that Disney don’t invest enough in their movies.
me and my dad got in on kids tickets for 2 years (when we were REALLY shit at the Ricoh) haha
Add that to the 7500:00 lost at GillinghamDint someone say that Facebook link had 1000 viewers the other day thats 8k the club has missed out on. Just from one game
Add that to the 7500:00 lost at Gillingham
Probably O Hare’s wages for the year...Best part of 400k over the course of the year. Whilst some of those (maybe a lot, who knows) wouldn't pay every week it's still a significant amount of lost revenue. Fully support the club shutting it down.

Like I said its an emotional argument, it's equally as wrong though in reality
I can't remember if it was here or gmk but i remember being criticised for buying a juvenile ticket. My brother did it into his 40s. I'll still give it a go if need be
Is that supposed to be me?
You're not great at this debating stuff ... Nothing I said is incorrect, it's a purely emotional argument based on a football club you support, if people are happy to do it to other sporting clubs but act outraged when it's city, then they're argument is entirely flawed .. YoU GeTz Me FAm Innit...
Im not sure morality is binary TBH
Just as bad.
This isn’t rocket science. Every person who rips off the club means the decent fans have to pay more. Why should they subsidise you?
Everything in law in an emotional argument. Me not killing people is an emotional argument. Property law is an emotional argument.
Infact, if somebody goes round their mates to watch it for free.. They too should be reported as technically they too are taking money off their club same fucking thing.. If 1000 people do that ITZ 10000 PoUNDz EnouGH To PaY Da KiT MaN FoR 6 MoNThS
Not really the same. At least someone is paying for it in that situation.
It's cool if you do it, just don't moan if we don't spend enough or if performances aren't good enough.
Ofcourse, but you cant flip flop between what is right and wrong just solely based of you're own interests... If its wrong it's wrong.
The argument is based solely on the fact they support Coventry so it's an emotional argument
Literally everyone does this! What do you think politics is or is it just chance those without assets vote left and those with vote right?
Your argument is emotional. You “want” to watch football games but don’t want to pay. Calling something an emotional argument isn’t some winning move.
Jesus none of us need to watch a bunch of grown men kick a bag of wind about the place. If you’re going all autistic 17 year old that just found YouTube morality you should be sneering at the entire enterprise of following a team. Given that you accept the emotion of following said team you’ve got to accept the argument on those terms.
I'm guessing oggy oi or whatever his name is pays for it, he just has 7000 mates .
I dont get peoples argument, it's OK for me just not with city, its OK for him because he's doing it less than that... If if its Liverpool its fair game but city need the money, steal from big companies but not from small ... It's all over the place.
You're either against it completely or you're not
I'm going to have to watch this week out on my phone. Anybody know of a good free (or cheap) VPN that works on iOS? PM me if you don't want to put it out on the forum.
Good news
Only just realised our game vs Swansea is also on sky, bit of a piss take for us ST holders 3/3 Home games on sky so far!
Says red button, hope we get the same money from Sky as we do for the main channels.Only just realised our game vs Swansea is also on sky, bit of a piss take for us ST holders 3/3 Home games on sky so far!
The game against Middlesbro Away on 27th Oct is also on sky. Via red button.Only just realised our game vs Swansea is also on sky, bit of a piss take for us ST holders 3/3 Home games on sky so far!
I think all or most championship midweek games are on sky via the red button. But they should be available on Ifollow... didn't the club also say that some midweek away games would be available free for STHs?Only just realised our game vs Swansea is also on sky, bit of a piss take for us ST holders 3/3 Home games on sky so far!
If you go onto the ifollow website the Swansea game is advertised as being available,it looks to me that it gets approved match by match.I think all or most championship midweek games are on sky via the red button. But they should be available on Ifollow... didn't the club also say that some midweek away games would be available free for STHs?
My interpretation of it is that games shown like on Sky (excluding the red button games) are the ones not available on i follow. At this moment I fully expect to be watching the Swansea game on i follow.
