He then said it didn't happen for his team either last week and that too DISAPPOINTED him

Seems very honest and very consistent? At no point did he aim any digs at managers or players and infact backed up what warbutten said.

Why? I'd support them refusing to play if players were being racially abused... But booing an organisation and movement that have put racial relations back 30 years is absolutely what should be done... They say they aren't backing the organisation BLM, but they use the same slogans etc that they use, Infact several media sites were claiming they were a terrorist organisation 3 or 4 years ago .. This is so uncontroversial, I really don't know what the argument is. If people want to support a cause, fair play to them. if people don't want to show their support in that way, then fine, not taking a knee doesn't make somebody a racist.

Then why not shout Black Parity or Black Equality? It's incredibly clumsy terminology, just like Defund the Police. Don't allow any ambiguity into the message. Unless the ambiguity is put there deliberately to allow the goalposts to move but the message stay the same. You start by saying this phrase is about us gaining equality, then if/when parity is achieved it becomes about becoming more powerful and dominant but as the message hasn't changed anyone who tries to highlight this change can still be decried as racist.

It's a natural instinct to want to be more powerful. There will be people within many communities who want their viewpoint to hold sway over others. There will be black people who want domination over other races just as there are white, women who think they should have dominion over men, Groups throughout history have gone from being the persecuted minority to the dominant one yet still play the persecution card. This is especially true in religion. Christianity still has a massively dominant position in much of the western world yet constantly plays the role of persecuted under attack victim despite them being responsible for much of the persecution that is actually happening against groups like gays, trans, womens rights etc.

Getting quite disappointed with this place really. Seems so many posts daily that turn into politics and right v left etc. We all come here as City fans, tbf it's probably the only thing that unites us. We all have different backgrounds, not only religion, colour or political affiliation bht demographics of finance, job, parents, area even town, right through to IQ. Need to get a bit more respect for each other, know that our views aren't the only correct ones and be generally a bit nicer and stick to debating about the City. I know this is separate to the point being discussed but, apart from the little videos at the start, the whole thing was rubbish, crap presenter, crap pundits, abysmal commentators (the co-commentator in particular didn't have a fucking clue) and buying and playing a now tv day pass was a nightmare.

I wen't for paying the £10 and making sure it worked last night just incase and it still cut out a couple times, I won't be making the same mistake again.

I agree, I don’t get why these people are getting so fucking angry. Do they also kick off when Help The Aged adverts come on as they’re discriminatory to young people, and send in angry emails saying “we should help all ages, you woke, lefty snowflake”? Do diabetics go mental when they see adverts for Cancer Research?

Yet as soon as the word “black” is involved, the entire cause is classified as domestic terrorism, a political plot to undermine & destroy the white race, the police, capitalism, and all hell breaks loose with people chucking in words they don’t really understand.

We get Sky Go through the in-laws for free so it didn't cost us any extra to watch. But seeing them talk about players not doing a gesture for about as much time as they were football, and then to see managers getting pestered about it as well made me want to turn it off. Warburton spoke a lot of sense, look at what else the club actually does off the pitch and not just a gesture that doesn't do anything
