Yes yes yes....unless you can prove otherwise. That's the law . Step this way into the incinerator sir, you won't feel a thing.Basically you're a racist.
Surely taking the knee, in isolation, it is going to do nothing, but it is all part of a movement of awareness. Getting the disparity between black and white in everyone's forethoughts.
I have always known of racism in society in general, but have been hearing so many eye opening stories since this whole thing blew open.
It is just something that is part of the whole movement of bringing awareness.
I do think it has now served its purpose though and the statement has been diluted somewhat.
Exactly where I amOf course all lives matter. That is not what the Black Lives Matter slogan is all about.
As has been said before, it is perhaps a clumsy choice of wording and Black Lives Matter Too would be a much better way to have gone with it, but it is all about being treated equally and black people simply haven't been and this has been going on for far too long now.
It is just looking for parity.
We know all lives matter.
I thought taking the knee was a wonderful thing, but I feel it has is served its purpose and lost its power now and new campaigns and ways of keeping it in the public eye need to be brought to the table.
I am glad there's the ability at QPR for players to make their own decisions.
I'm all for Kick It Out or whatever dance routine or hand signal people might want to invent to promote equality - but if I was part of our team I would not want to take the knee due to my own convictions/POV. I would be very torn between that decision and supporting a team mates' feelings who does. I totally get MR and the team kind of borg collective vs indivduality, so peer pressure and the bigger picture would probably win though.
I would hope discussing the points in the dressing room would be OK and players would listen to each others viewpoints, but dare say like on here, there would be ill feeling and accusations. At least we can ignore each other, bit hard to do that on the pitch.
They're bringing out a sequel???..........Black Lives Matter Too...........
A gammon is anyone who isn't clued up on everything currently politically correct and actively engaged in pointing the finger at everyone else being to blame for the injustices of the world. They're usually older people apparently who know nothing. What's a gammon? I only know that it's served with a nice slice of pineapple and chips. What other meaning could it possibly have?
I'm not clued up on everything currently and I am a vegetarian. What does that make me, a soya chunk?A gammon is anyone who isn't clued up on everything currently politically correct and actively engaged in pointing the finger at everyone else being to blame for the injustices of the world. If you go on you tube , houch, and type in "Jonathan pie - woke utopia" he'll give you a guide to it. You'll see what you're missing out on.
Yes, but I think the word ' chunk' may offend certain groups.I'm not clued up on everything currently and I am a vegetarian. What does that make me, a soya chunk?
I've just asked her and she thinks it's about the same. Tesco is next cheapest. Don't touch Sainsbury's though.Okay. 59p in Aldi. How much are they in Lidl?

I thought gammon was something you ate at the pub if you couldn't afford steak, until I read this thread. I suppose not knowing it's alternative meaning proves I am gammonGammon and pineapple.
....but it's all made up anyway .The term gammon is the antithesis of the term snowflake. But rather than get upset and cry about something seemingly trivial they get upset and rage about it til they go red in the face with rage about something minor but is pink beneath that. As a general rule they tend to get upset with black/gay/gender rights going too far whereas snowflakes are more likely to do so because they don't go far enough.
You sure? I'm certain Asda had some in stock when I went in yesterday.....but it's all made up anyway .
It certainly sounds like. It means you're happy in your own skin , even if it's gammon flavour.I thought gammon was something you ate at the pub if you couldn't afford steak, until I read this thread. I suppose not knowing it's alternative meaning proves I am gammon
Only if it's good old UK gammon. You sure? I'm certain Asda had some in stock when I went in yesterday.

With egg on my faceOnly if you're getting incredibly angry, experiencing high blood pressure and turning pink because of it
Totally agree with that
Nah it's a bollocks statement rushed out to try and back up his clubs awful decision.
History shows us that sport and society and quite happy to forget issues such as racism and happily carry on as normal.
Society needs to be continually prodded and reminded of it's long history of inaction.

Why not look at what else QPR do before castigating them for not doing a meaningless gesture that achieves nothing
Sorry I forgot having a great community race relations project exempts you from people thinking you are wrong.
We've already established it's not meaningless as you need to keep something in the publics eye or it will just go away from the public debate. No one said taking a knee with every change anything but it a method of saying we are still here you know,
Could argue it gets some people thinking and starts a debate...I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what taking a knee has done to fight racism.
The statement is spot on. It also shows morons up like you trying to call Les Ferdinand and QPR racist. It actually does more harm than good to the cause.
