Can you really see the Warwick uni thing happening at all?

what’s the alternative ?, Birmingham until they get bored, followed by WBA until they get bored then what ?.

At some point, we need a home with home fans and not 3/4 of an empty stadium

I live in southam! So me and a few of the lads will be loving this.

I’ll hang around outside with me boots like Bigi, hoping to get my chance! I maybe 34 and shite out field but it won’t be stopping me 😂
Had no idea the size of this,so I went on their website, amazing setup scrolled down and we are one of their partners and they are a platinum partner for us.I know there are quite a few of our fans live in that area because about 10 lads used to sit in front of me and the Mrs at the Ricoh.

There are quite a few Cov fans in southam, even a well run supporters club, I live a few minutes away in a village called Harbury and there’s a few of us here too!

There seemed very few of us when I lived there (back in the late seventies). However, it appears the population of the town has doubled since then, so I don't doubt there are a few.
It does sound like a good fit, all things considered, and with Dr Burston hardly being short of a bob or two, it could be very fruitful if the partnership were to develop.
Furthermore, it's not many minutes past Ryton on the 423 (I used to do it every day), so could be a winner.
Let's see.

I still think the plan is to get the Ricoh, and the uni thing will be ideal for a training ground, and ryton is said to be worth £8mil with the planning so will pay for a new training ground, and would save renting Higgs for the kids teams

Leicester City new training ground is in the middle of nowhere it seems to be the norm less distractions and more space for your money.

The location makes sense, particularly being close to Leamington. I know it's something they definitely want to do, Ryton just isn't up to scratch any more.

It'd be great if you could have the whole shebang - training facilities, academy and ground all in one place.

As an ex Bishops boy, best moment of my childhood probably scoring both goals in a 2-0 win against Harbury when at Primary School.

It would make sense to have one facility I'd have thought, IIRC, Ryton only has 2 pitches, cramped building and small car park that probably isn't big enough to house the squad of the players.

Just had a quick google of training grounds of clubs I'd consider to be off similar stature to us (although they have more money), Bristol City, Norwich, etc, all have 8+ pitches, massive buildings no doubt full of top class facilities, It's something we'll need to improve to make the step up.

Having been to many League club training grounds I don’t think I’ve seen a smaller, more basic set up than ours. Much easier to attract top players if we offer good facilities.
