He doesn't mean populist, he means right wing

Guiseppi Conte is a far better example than Johnson then

I seen someone today in asda Walsgrave without a mask and the guy was probaly atleast 35 stone the health issues he probaly has would probaly kill him if he contracted it, yet my 78 year old granny who has lung cancer and asthma wears one 🤷‍♂️.
I was at the gym the other day, just got out of the shower and went to my locker. I was getting my clothes out and a bloke just stood next to me and emptied his locker , moved my stuff and couldn't have been more than two feet away from me while he was getting undressed. I said so much for social distancing, if you get any closer, I insist you wear a condom. He just gave me a filthy look, put on his swim shorts and went for a swim. Disrespectful fucking moron. I wouldn't have minded if he was good looking.

Are you using the cloth ones because they are horrible, the NHS type ones are so much better...
The one I got with the city badge on is really shite for comfort

I have a reusable one because the generic surgical ones most people have break too easily.

I don’t actually think there are any true populist leaders in Europe. In reality, Conte isn’t either really, he wouldn’t have even been PM if the 5 Star got in outright.

Was more like 3 months ago when the virus was subsiding a little, but it was always garenteed to return it follows the same pattern as the flu it wouldn't surprise me at all if we do see 20k cases daily in the coming months unless people get a grip and follow guidelines.
It was the 9th of this month.

It’s not that dumb. He has no discernible strategy to deal with this crisis, his chief adviser leaks everything in the press to gauge public reaction before implementation any proposals or actions, making out that he’s empowering the common man in involving them in decision making.
Can you see any other reason why a proportion of people think he’s doing a good job?

Nationalism, which prevents people from acknowledging hard facts and instead makes them constantly divert anywhere & everywhere instead of focusing on the problems in their own country. You can be patriotic and see the mistakes we’ve made, but your average nationalist refuses to accept anything other than we’re great and everyone else is worse than us or lying.

Which is true, had they contained it at its source back in October November 2019 we wouldn't be having these issues around the world.
Likewise once our first case was recorded in late Jan early Feb we should have done the same. Yet Boris fucked about with his herd immunity rubbish, waited weeks and killed thousands.

Oakman Inns CEO Peter Borg-Neal said his industry "sweated blood to get ready to re-open our businesses" in July, with the Health Secretary's comments "totally untrue".

Speaking on Thursday's Question Time, the businessman, who has worked in the pub trade since he was 16, said after pub's re-opened on July 4, there was "no significant change in the number of transmissions" for over two months.

"Then, at the beginning of September there's a big change.

"How on earth can that be blamed on the hospitality industry? We're very angry," he continued.

Mr Borg-Neal was referring to an interview Mr Hancock gave last Friday on BBC Radio Four's Today programme.

He claimed the "vast majority of transmissions happen in social settings, whether that's in hospitality or people's own homes".

However, Public Health England figures from that same week show of the 729 new confirmed cases just 34 were officially linked to the industry.

Mr Borg-Neal added the industry would "never put profits before public safety".

He said: "We want a retraction and an apology and if we don't get one this issue will not go away. People are really hurt and upset."

Viewers' responses to the entrepreneur's comments were mixed.

Twitter user Reay Honour said he is "another businessman denying it's his businesses' fault. It's the schools, it's offices, it's the old folks' home.

"Ridiculous argument made purely out of greed and not need."

While Labour's David Whitaker tweeted: "I have to say Peter is talking a lot of common sense.

Employment Minister Alok Sharma was also a guest on the show
"Proves the Government and their scientists have not a clue about the economy and the impact of their measures."

Also on the programme, professor and chair of Global Public Health at the University of Edinburgh, Devi Sridhar warned: "Unless you solve your public health problem you’re not going to solve your economic problems."

She said the UK should look at countries like Taiwan and South Korea, that controlled the virus and had "minimal" economic impact.

Yesterday, would-be late-night drinkers in England faced the first evening of new measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus.

From Thursday, all pubs, bars and restaurants had to shut by 10pm - meaning time at the bar will be somewhere around 9pm.

Many people were not put off a midweek tipple or two by the new restrictions on Thursday.

Along with the 10pm closing times, all hospitality venues must now be table service only to try to help contain the spread of Covid-19.

The rules for England contrast with those in Wales, where pub-goers will be given an extra 20 minutes to finish their drinks after last orders.

From 6pm on Thursday, changes to coronavirus regulations mean Welsh hospitality businesses including pubs, cafes, restaurants, sports clubs and casinos must not supply alcohol between 10pm and 6am the following day.

Licensed premises will only be able to provide table service for customers when consuming food or drink - and following a 20-minute period to allow customers to finish their drinks at 10pm - must close by 10.20pm

What are the chances the #'s out of Greece have been reported the same way they have been in this country? Little story for you my aunt's dad died about 3 months ago from a heart attack after suffering for about 8 years with a heart condition can you guess what his cause of death was? Feel free to have a guess.

This is just nonsense British exceptionalism. Our numbers are valid, everyone else’s are dodgy. It’s nonsense.

Same as the China stuff. Do you realise the level of data they released? They were slow to admit it but once the cat was out the bag they’ve been very helpful. Meanwhile we’ve been chopping and changing our data collection methods based on what’s polticially expedient.

You can say why weve done the worse but you can’t deny we have. There will be no magic reckoning in the future where we are found to be the best.

that's where we are now, as long as there are other governments as shit as ours they get a pass.

Less Britain First and more Britain At Least We Aren’t Last.

Can’t even do nationalism properly.
