Thats what makes it strange that she would be worth over 2bn.

She runs/oversees funds worth approx 2 billion. Her personal wealth will be a couple of million
The Sun says Joy is worth 2 billion but Joy doesn't own CCFC. All the investors in the funds really own CCFC.

Yeah it's a bit random, who wrote the article?

Can maybe ask them on social media where they did maths?

Yeah, that’s the real slight of hand, she isn’t even the owner, so her personal wealth is largely irrelevant. But, the sun...

If she’s only got a couple of million I’d be stunned. Her house was over £6m and she’s run a hedge fund and been surrounded by money her whole life. I’d guess she’s a bit more successful than that.

The mistake people seem to make is that when a rich person owns a football club all that person’s money is now owned by the football club. When Newcastle were due to be taken over by the Saudis the papers are saying ‘which would make them the richest club in the world’. Would it? If Joy has billions that doesn’t mean the club does. The club has to be run sustainably in order to avoid FairPlay penalties etc

It makes you wonder how people get through every day tasks like eating, driving and walking.
I think those tasks are basically done by the subconscious part of the brain, once you've learned driving you can do it without thinking, you don't have to force one leg in front of the other and you learn eating from birth.

Anything that takes the slightest bit of cognitive effort just write it off, back in the day they'd just be some netter in the pub but now their opinion gets seen by 100s of other nutters who share it to their circle of nutters.

I don't think Nick was being quite that literal?

Not akin to Leicester, Bournemouth and Sheff Utd then
That's the point though mate. IF she had the 2.3 billion in her back pocket, she probably WOULD do a Leicester, Bournemouth and Sheff United. She wouldn't be fannying around letting us sink to the bottom tier and make her company look daft.

I think she had no idea what she was getting into. I think her understanding, attitude and approach to the club are completely different now. Maybe due to some long and honest conversations with MR.

Firstly, I'm not sure I buy that Seppala is worth £2.3bn individually. Not sure what their source is. More importantly though, we aren't owned by her, we're owned by an investment fund.

Let's be honest, this is a propaganda piece on behalf of Premier League clubs.
