Well As far as I’m concerned we are up against a much better team, the likes of which we haven’t come up against in a long time, the players will know that as they watch them waltz past us seemingly at will, but they don’t care- they are fighting for everything, not letting their heads drop at all, still running for everything and somehow managing to hold them at half time.

I’m proud of ‘em so far for the attitude and spirit, I cannot & will not slag them off for simply not being as good or experienced as this team, who were two divisions above us a couple of months ago.

Doing ok first half and grown into game.

Hyam, Hamer, Giles. O'Hare and Marosi have been really good. Shipley has had his moments.

Dabo has been our weak point with Bournemouth going forward. Has his hands full against a good player. But he is always a bit 50/50 for me, dont get the full on love some City fans have.

This is a tough test and a preview of the season ahead.

Dabo looks a touch heavy to me, it looks like he’s not quite up to match fitness yet. These are going to be a strong Championship side, and it’s going to be a tough second half for us. If we can hang on and take a point, we will have done really well.

Shipley looks out of his depth unfortunately, and Dabo is strangely poor.
Their team cost a fortune compared to ours and it showed. Still well in the game though.

Well in this game even though shipley and Giles can’t tackle. Shipley is out of his depth, Godden doesn’t move enough, dabo short of confidence, sheaf too slow, marosi can’t save. Bloody whiners

We need to cut out the mistakes on the edge of our box and miss out their 5 players pressing so they go back and give us some space

It’s 1-1 against one of the promotion contenders and there’s people on here saying robins got the team wrong

Also, the high press will fade as the game carries on. Everyone has done their homework on us and know that pressing negates our passing game to some extent. We have to react to that and take advantage by playing a different formation / strategy. Robins isn’t thick and knows this.

We could come on strong at the end.

Gone a similar way to the QPR game under the cosh and looked in trouble for first 20 odd minutes but have slowly got into the game got back to 1-1 and in with a chance if winning this. We should remember there are a lot of the Bournemouth premier team out there who have played together for a while and we are a newly built former division one team. We are okay & can win this
