That desperate, I watched Fleetwood v Hull (Harvey Saunders (Fleetwood) and some double-barrelled youngster from Hull stood out. Both very good players

Loved England games as a kid and not mu h changed now. Don't get me wrong I miss club football but it's hardly as bad as post season is it? We still get footy

Scotland and n Ireland winning on pens was exciting too

Dont watch England at all outside of major tournaments. Caught a bit the other night and I don’t even know 90% of the players any more.

That's your fault though bro. Would be like me watching a few wow of GOT and then telling everyone its not good

I am not tottaly disagreeing tho. It's not as good as club football and friendlies are boring for most part. I think nations league has been a great idea though and improved ibtl breaks

How is it? I wouldnt knoe the characyers of i didnt watch it

What excuse can there be for not knowing Calvert Lewin ings or coach other than you don't watch my h football outside of cov??

because we all know how football works, we've watched it all our lives, I've never seen an episode of GOT.
You like international football great, fair play, some of us have no time for it, particularly outside of major tournaments.

Personally I know who CL is and how he's been playing because even though I don't take as much notice of the Premiership as I used to I've gone out of my way to watch Evertons games as I'm a big fan of Ancelotti and Rodriguez.

You seem to have ignored everything i have said

I know how international cricket works doesnt mean i know every player called up to the squad. If i watched county cricket I would though

I have no issue with people not enjoying intl footy but I don't know the players is not a knock on anyone but yourself thats all

Sorry but I love it. So much to watch and normally there’s great places to go. What’s not to like? With regards to football outside of Coventry City I can’t imagine not watching live or on TV.

I used to. I just don’t have time to watch football outside of City so lost touch with the Prem. Now I don’t have that connection with the national team. Totally my fault. I could follow the Prem if I made time 🤷

By the way if you’re bored, at a loose end with nothing to do today Sphinx are at home in the FA Vase. Cheap to get in and you can have a pint next to the pitch.

That's fine. Another case of there being no issue but an argument on the internet lol

Think we can all agree watching BCD games week after week is wank compared to being able to go or even watch the same games with a crowd. Lose the canned crowd noise as well!

Never watch them.... don’t have that much interest in the tournaments either TBH. Used to go a few matches aswell but lost interest. Still got a scar on my right arm I suffered v Scotland in 88 when it all kicked off.

I think I'm with a few on here. Only really get into international games come the finals, and even then not like I used to. In the days of 16 team tournaments I would watch every single game, whoever was playing, but not anymore. Don't make any effort to watch any qualifying games or friendlies. If I end up watching one I inevitably find the experience dull and disheartening.

As for the Prem, when we played in it I had an encyclopedic knowledge of players, but in those years since we came down my interest has waned. I don't watch MOTD much these days & not playing FIFA type games I don't know the players through those means either. I do have a much improved knowledge of players and teams in the lower leagues though :)

I prefer England games (tournament) to Cov games (unless I'm there). Said it before and I'm saying it again.

Wheatsheaf at 10:05pm tonight if anyone has a problem.

Hate to be pedantic but fucking dog shit is three words - and yes

the two words refers to the title of the thread - international break.
Didn't think it was difficult to understand but maybe my wording was ambiguous?!

Love an England game personally, prefer it when there is atleast something on the line. Quite looking forward to the 2 nations league games.

Euro Finals and World Cup finals yes. But all those qualifiers and friendlies no thanks.

The old Home Internationals were good in the 70's.

The Nations League is a poor attempt at making friendlies out to be more than they actually are.... i think interest for this Nations league is less than the last one. And we are still getting pointless friendlies (Wales) in addition...!!
