Already started on here as well ; )

Ps as poor as May was (to be fair she was in a pretty impossible position on Brexit but then I lack sympathy after she truly fucked up her manifesto/election campaign), she at least still does her duty as an MP, unlike many others when they leave office.

I disagree with May on probably virtually everything, but I thought she genuinely did her best in the national interest as she saw it. You can tell she takes her job seriously.

Agree with both of you. She's also the last defeated Prime Minister since... Callaghan? to hang around and seek re-election as an MP, the term after their defeat in the country. It shows she cares, even if in a different way to how I might.

He's under no threat from the parliamentary party is he?
The IT doesn’t work. It’s worse than the May conference when she could barely talk and the letters fell of the back scenery. They really couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.

What a shambles. Even more embarrassingly the other parties have already held their virtual conferences and had them go off without a hitch. Of course as usual the Conservatives could use the same system as everyone else and had to come up with something 'world beating'.
All of the annual party conferences were forced into cyberspace by the coronavirus pandemic, which forced the cancellation of the planned Tory gathering in Birmingham.
But unlike Labour and Liberal Democrats, who largely relied on politicians delivering speeches into cameras, the Conservatives have created an elaborate 3D virtual conference, with a computer-generated auditorium, foyer and fringe meeting rooms.
And if you're wondering why its the usual answer.
Users can visit virtual stalls dotted around an exhibition hall, with companies paying between £6,000 and £25,000 for a presence.
Business delegates were charged £850 for a day pass, while non-members could pay £100 to watch.

Assume the IT was outsourced to Serco as well.

Tony talks politics. Andrew Marr could be searching for a new job

He might well be once Charles Moore decides to break up the BBC from within.

Is Tony getting the gig? He can inspire us with his knowledge of the US constitution

Robert Jenrick stiffs the council of a London borough for 40 million and it seems no one gives a fuck.

Robert Jenrick submits plans to build a holocaust memorial and receive hate mail death threats. State of this country.

Listening to the speech today they sound very keen to manipulate the property market
Sounded like we've moved past the pretending to give a shit about stopping poor people dying stage onto the how can we make money out of this stage.

The language needs to start changing before we have another Jo Cox situation on our hands

I know it’s wrong. But the thing that annoys me most about that article is the guy had a fucking confederate flag in his bag. Get some fucking British racism. You’re supposed to be a nationalist!
