A) Paul Williams - One was good one was awful. I assume you mean the main man who was strong and generally dependable.
B) Paul Telfer - Strachan seemed to like him, a lot of people where I sat didn't. I thought he was average but did work hard.
C) Marcus Hall - love Marcus as gave his all but i think he was hopeless. Not his fault he was picked and played with heart.
D) Gary Breen - prone to the odd error (in the Elliot Ward ilk imo) but for large chunks was outstanding quality and I always felt should have played for better than us if he could have found more consistency
E) Mo Konjic - who wouldn't like Big Mo? Gave something different and a cult hero for the terraces. Not in the composed way of a Phil Babb or a Trevor Peake type CB, but someone who took no prisoners and who can forget his marauding runs?

Rob has pretty much wrapped this one up for me. The only thing I'd disagree with is Marcus Hall. He was better than hopeless, but I see where you're coming from. Other than that; word perfect.

A) Paul Williams - 169 league games / 5 goals - 1995-2001 ("other" Paul Williams 14 games / 0 goals - 1993-1995)
Paul was a good defender, not overly tall but a fair header of the ball and was consistent but not brilliant for CCFC
B) Paul Telfer - 191 games / 6 goals - 1995-2001
There are two distinct camps here either you liked Telfs or you didn't - I personally liked Paul never a world beater but boy what an engine - played a mix of right full back or right wing back whilst at CCFC - a great servant, wholehearted and at times quite skilful was allso a great golfer playing off 2 handicap.
C) Marcus Hall - 270 games / 2 goals - 1994-2002/2005-2010
Cannot be serious saying Marcus was hopeless; totally unfair - possessed a great left peg and had the ability to bomb the wing when needed - wholehearted and committed - must have been OK as we had two stints of Marcus.
D) Gary Breen 146 games / 2 goals - 1997-2002
Gary was a class act good in the air comfortable on the ball and could carry the ball out of defence rather than hoofball
Good servant probably more skilful than most of the centre halves we have had over the years
E) Mo Konjic - 138 games / 4 goals - 1999-2004
The man was a legend at CCFC particularly when setting off on one of his mazy runs towards the opposition but often ending in failure but still an awesome sight.
He was virtually unbeatable in defensive heading duties but for the life of me could not direct a header towards goal from dead ball situations hence only 4 goals in 5 seasons.
Well that's my short synopsis of the above players but what is evident in their CCFC tenure is the number of games and matches played - no longer evident theses days !!!

Big Mo was an awesome centre half.
A) He was better in midfield, okay in defence but always liable to drop a bollock. I was never 100% happy with him at the back.
B) I didn't mind Telfs because he never hid. He always wanted the ball and never gave less than his all.
C) I must have seen a different Marcus Hall to the guy who said he had a great left foot, because whenever he had the ball in a promising attacking position I would duck for cover in my seat in the West Stand. Only got away with his lack of talent due to being a local kid.
D) Not the bravest but always comfortable on the ball which I like to see. I have always appreciated footballers & so Breen was one of my more favoured players.
E) When he couldn't get in the team ahead of Shaw & Williams I could never understand why. He had played Champions League football for Monaco and then couldn't get in a team ahead of those two, work that one out. If fit a 100% player whose style will always win over supporters, though maybe not Derby fans?

On konjic I agree. He gave funny interviews and people invented a silly song but very limited as a defender. Had huge physical presence but never used it to great effect.
