Will take that at half time. For first 30 we were overrun and rather lucky. Last 10 came into game and looked more competitive

given the gulf in class, very decent performance from us I thought in that half.

itsa weaker team today than at most times last season, yet we are holding a team that aren’t far off the prem.

Happily take 0-0 at half time and would be delighted to take a draw at full time

Much better after the little enforced break from the Pask/Henry collision.

I can see MR's thinking with this system as when we've got the press right we do look like causing them problems. The problem is, when they get through it we're outnumbered in CM & both flanks.

Take the scoreline at half time, midfield overran for the first 30, struggled to adapt to their game....

Second half I'd bring Kelly on and go 3 Central midfield

Hopefully we can take something from not conceding and managing to get back into it a bit. Looked like a different team at the end of the half.

Ironically, halftime came at the wrong time for us, we were just working out how to compete.

Brentford ran out of steam after the first 35 mins.

They come out strong next half. We really to believe. Baka has to hold it up better.

Under the cosh for most of that but played better towards the end of the half...Sheaf looks too ponderous on the ball but can pass fairly decent...Allens running about a bit we need Kelly on to organise the midfield better but at the expense of probably Allen

A bit fortunate not to be behind at the break. But much better last 10 minutes or so. it's not going to work wasting Godden and Baka up top and leaving our midfield exposed when we don't have Hamer or Kelly on the pitch?

FFS. We have an opportunity and decide to take a shot from the worst angle possible rather than a simple lay off.

Under pressure, you're either going to be afraid to shoot or take any chance you have on goal, regardless of success chance. We've gone past pressure and we're edging on desperation for any breaks we can get. Expect more hopeful shots from ridiculous positions.

451 for me, sometimes you have to adapt and its screaming for a system change this match
Been saying 451 for the longest time in other threads on the forum. We have to pack the midfield as it’s non-existent at the moment.

I get that but we’re even mucking up the basics as we did 2 weeks ago

Generally what happens against better quality opposition. Especially when we’re away.

At least we’ve gone into the break at 0-0, got back into the game near the end of the half, even creating a clear cut chance.

We’re newly promoted, and we’re not good enough to go toe-to-toe with the big boys in this league. It’s a work in progress.

Just for parity, we are currently above Derby, Norwich, Cardiff and Preston.

Yes.
Would you expect Rose, Hyam or McFadzean to do a better job at RWB?
If he gets a run in his right position then fair enough.

Although let's be absolutely honest, not many expect anything from today so to be level at HT is somewhat pleasing
