Management got it wrong today the spells we had flattered us they didn’t get out of 2nd gear

Everything good has come through McCallum playing on his weak side. Would definitely start him on Tuesday.

Dabo and Kelly in this squad and I think it could have been a bit different. All 3 on Tuesday and we will look a lot better.

Yep maccallum should start and dabo would make a big difference
Could be because they’ve taken the foot off the gas but been impressed with mccallum going forwards. He did get absolutely left for dead at one point which was concerning and anyone else would’ve got murdered for it.

Don’t think Giles had a good game. McCallum starts for me

Say it every time we lose. We are nothing without Dabo

Amazes me today when we begin to whip crosses in after we’ve took a striker off for a midfield player leaving another striker on the bench

Strange

We only ever start playing after conceding. Worrying that we only look like ourselves when the opposition drops 10 yards and stops pressing so intensely.

At some point Robins is going to have to consider putting one of the 3 cb's into midfield and giving us a chance of competing from the start.

Playing 4-5-1 reduced the amount of players we have centrally? We already play with 3/4 central midfielders.

Dropping COH down the pitch, or altogether is a bad idea. We don’t have any wingers, our strikers would be left isolated and it takes away one of our central defenders away, which has been good facet of our shape and play this season.

Against the likes of Brentford or Bournemouth, probably wouldn’t make much of a difference.

Altogether, not a well thought out proposal.
I never said to drop COH. I said to play our best 11. Please refer to my other threads.

Some strange logic on here. Universally recognised that finishing a place above the relegation zone would be a successful season yet throwing hissy fits because we're being beaten away at promotion favourites. We were naive in giving the goals away but that's just part of the adjustment to better quality opposition.

Good to see some players come on and give creditable performances, notably Shipley who linked very well with Giles and Godden and Mccallum despite being out of position.

That was really poor. Was feeling optimistic after the first two games but very worried after seeing the last three performances.

Against two teams that are going to be going for promotion 😂 we haven't been hammered in either game and are still adjusting to the league as it's a massive step up but yeah let's all be angry that we didn't put 5 past Bournemouth or Brentford, the histerics on here is hilarious, you would think by reading this thread that we lost 8 nil

Tuesday is our bread and butter for this season.
Swansea have not started the season well. We need a performance.

Agreed. How many million do we need to get there ?
Doesn't cost millions to try harder, work harder, not give stupid passes away, track runners, or get more men in the box when we're getting crosses in. Both this game and Bournemouth were poor performances despite the cash difference. Todays scoreline flattered us.

It’s not the losing, it’s how easy we made it for them. We looked, and have done in every game we’ve played this season, incredible sloppy all over the pitch. Far too ponderous and give the opposition way too much respect.
