Let’s be honest, we’re gonna lose the next two games. This is how I see these going:

I don’t want to be negative, but after watching the game tonight, it is clear to me that this team has a lot of developing to do, and bridging the gap is gonna be hard. Hopefully, as they learn and gain experience, they can do better in the subsequent games because most of these next 11 games are difficult. I’m still gonna be positive and say we’ll finish 18th, but relegation really wouldn’t surprise me.

Massive learning curve but we have stepped up before. Main points from Bournemouth - speed, completing our passes and closing the opposition down. In Robins (and Adi) we trust.

As long as we beat Middlesbrough. Over a decade I’ve been waiting to have my season bets with my best mate. And he’s been telling me how crap they are and how well finish above them.

Started the season well as you would expect with a Warnock team. Played Bournemouth and Watford already

The next 3 I don’t expect much. Teams like Blues, Cardiff and Boro we should really be giving a game though. Same with Forest and Derby if they don’t pick up.

I appreciate this post because it's important to look at the bigger picture, and not get too hung up on 3 consecutive games.
I believe there are 10 to 12 points from that list, I think we can win 2 or 3 of Middlesborough, Forest, Birmingham, Norwich, or Derby, and maybe draw at least 1.
Plus I wouldn't be at all surprised if we spring a surprise against one of the other teams on that list.
On the positive side, losing Hamer for the next 3 games is not a total disaster, considering we will probably lose those games anyway.

All games are difficult, without checking I think there have been a lot of draws the last three weeks and single goal victories this will continue still think we can be halfway by Christmas.

Did you not say we’re going for promotion and need to sign a Abraham type striker?

Uncle Ray said he could have employed Warnock instead of Coleman but that’s not the way football should be played. Losing every week was so better - at least Chris wore a nice coat. Well done Uncle Ray

Friday night taught us a lesson in how to play this league. But before anyone gets too suicidal about how we're doing, we were as good as Bristol City who now top the league and beat QPR who currently sit in 8th place. So we can play and we can beat teams who are on paper much better than us.

Judging on how Blackburn are scoring at will, they will probably take us to the cleaners and Brentford are possibly the strongest team in the league in my opinion. But in all honesty, from watching Swansea's game against Wycombe and the highlights of the other games I've seen, we still have as much of a chance against anyone else in those 12 games. They're big name teams and have been in this league for a while but they're not performing well. This is the best time of the season to play them.

And yes, I predict even Wycombe will win games this season too ;)

Come on - let’s be positive. Players are on a learning curve. In Robins and Vivash we have two very good operators. We were poor on the ball and a little bit bullied by a Premier League team last time out. You always have a chance in a two horse race.

some absolute text book bed wetting going on on this thread.
Forest are a shambles, Blues, Derby, Cardiff and Boro no great shakes. We'll take more points than people are predicting. We'll spring a surprise against one of the actual decent sides in that list as well.

We’re a better side with Kelly in it sheaf hopefully will get sharper alongside him anything’s possible if we get it right my worry is the high press we have no plan B we could face high press all season yet

We've played 4 games. What's the point looking 12 games ahead? I hate this kind of thread, because if its on the back of a loss its all doom and gloom, while if its on the back of a win then we will win them all, everything is knee jerk. Look at the pre match predictions before the Bournemouth game, hardly anyone was right, and that's just for one match. Football by its nature throws up surprise results week in week out, so why not just enjoy being in the Championship again and take one game at a time.

Haha. Yes It's fans being fans. After a defeat all future games suddenly look like a visit to the dentists and something to be endured. I've got to be honest, I was exactly the same when looking at upcoming fixtures. Before the season started I had a look at the first few games and thought 'If we lose the Barnsley game, I can see us potentially losing the first 5, so we're already 4 points better off with a free hit against Brentford. It's just what we fans are like. I still think we'll finish above Wycombe, Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday (think that points deduction will do for them, sadly) and that's assuming nobody else implodes during the season (not convinced Middlesboro will be outside bottom 5)

I get it when its at the end of the season and you're looking at the last half dozen or so fixtures, but there really is no point at looking ahead of ourselves right now when we really have little idea of what lies in store forus or the majority of the teams in this league.

Problem with fixtures on paper is its never cut and dry... Ask Liverpool last night, or Leicester against West ham, or bayern Munich getting tonked last week, or....... You get my point.

1 point from 9 in the first 3 of the 12 games
So if we take 4 points from the next 9 games we'll be improving improving :)
