I think we could do well from these, W,W,W,D.L.W, that would see us nicely mid-table. If their fans are anything to go by, Forest and Watford are in disarray, Blues are meh, Cardiff think they're off the pace, Norwich are buzzing and Derby want Cocu out, so we can take advantage of their issues. The fixture list has been cruel so far. There are definitely a few fixtures in that run we need to target wins. Get through them picking up a few wins and draws and I'll be happy. Decembers fixtures look more managble on paper

I love your optimism. It never fails to make me smile how quickly this board (not saying you have) floats from “we’re never winning another game ever again” to “we can take 13 points from the next 18”.

9 points from those 6 would be a great return

All fixtures in this division are tough but that lot in a row are are really tough, if we get and hope we do what you are predicting we’d up the top end of the table. 18 points up for grabs there, I’d be happy with half from that lot.

December basically decides our fate so we need to still be ticking over through November. 7-8 points minimum needed from the next 6 imo

Anything above 6 I would happily take. I'd donate another £20 to the ST fund if you could guarantee us 9.

On paper, Watford and Norwich look tough, but the others we should give a run for their money.

If we can tick along at a point a game for the bulk of the season we'll be in with a shout of staying up (I think the average points for 21st place is 47 based on some googling), so if we get 6 points from these 6 games I'll be satisfied.

Anything above six will set us up nicely for the December games which on paper are easier than those in November. Of course football never that simple, as victory against top of the table shows. Last three seasons we have improved after Christmas so hopefully anywhere outside the relegation places in January will enable us all to relax and enjoy the end of season.

After beating Reading, I would fancy us to beat an off form, woeful Forest team. Watford are PL quality, so I only envision a loss there. Should beat Birmingham at home, they’re nothing special. Cardiff will be difficult, but a draw is possible. Norwich look a good team at this level and have just come down from PL, so a loss there. Derby look poor atm, so I fancy a point there. 8 points from these 6 games is a good return because 2 of those teams are near to PL quality, and as a few of you have said, a point a game is nearly enough for survival, so 8 points out of 6 games is the kind of form that will keep us up, so we should be happy with this.
