First game back at their new ground, which is on the same site as Plough Lane. Shame no fans attending but what a brilliant story.

It is. I'll be a pedant and say it's on the site of the greyhound stadium, however.

There are some complexities in the stadium food chain too, but maybe now isn't the time ;)

Shame they had to fuck over another community club to get there. They also showed no empathy with our situation at St Andrews last year either. Fuck them too.

Which other club did they fuck over?

Also the greyhound stadium is obviously no longer a greyhound stadium.

It's all... complicated. Of course it didn't need to be *as* complicated as this, if Wimbledon hadn't been wilfully displaced in the first place.

Bit harsh blaming it all on Wimbledon, it's not an ideal situation all round but I think it was known at the time Kingstonian would have gone out of business if Wimbledon didn't buy the ground in the first place in 2003 from their dodgy owners and allowed them to remain there for a peppercorn rent. Eventually Wimbledon would have had to sell to fund their move back home at some point, if Kingstonian weren't going to do so its hardly their fault.

Thankfully the greyhound stadium is no longer a greyhound stadium, not particularly a fan of the treatment of the animals in that 'sport'

They could have negotiated with Chelsea for them to stay though, even if they bought a little less cash in for it.

What did they do at St Andrews? I do prefer them to MK Franchise, especially the assholes I met on the train coming back from Brum last season.
The standard "you've got no ground", "homeless tramps" etc. I would have expected more after what they've been through.

I wouldn't blame it all on Wimbledon. As I said, if they hadn't been wilfully displaced, the chain wouldn't have been started in the first place.

It's not overly elegant, however, and a spot more empathy might have been worthwhile.

Standard stuff no grounds etc. Normally not bothered by that shit. But that got to me considering they’re a piddly no Mark club that only existed since 2002.

Since then I prefer MK Dons, they might be a franchise but at least they’ve moved on and started putting roots into the MK community.

AFC can fuck off

That is a bit naughty tbf. I cannot get on with MK after meeting their asshole fans. No one in MK gives a shit about them anyway going by their attendances. Basically, Spurs fans who can't afford the train fair.
