Too soon? (2 Viewers)

Did this promotion come too soon for our young squad? They all look very naive. 8 points now and need around 22 by the midpoint of the season. Lose next game and Forest win, then there is a gap between us and the rest forming very fast...

Never understood this thinking. Always take promotion and what happens, happens. The players who came up deserve their chance and the new players were bought for this level. Maybe, if by chance we are in the promotion hunt at the end of the season, we should throw a game or two as we might not be ready to the Premier league!

No, you always take promotion. Some of us are old enough to remember the annual relegation fights in the Prem. Plenty of people in those days used to say it would do us good to go down so we could come straight back up with a winning mentality. Look how that worked out.

Agree 100% I've enjoyed the two promotions I've seen, but I'd love to be back on that "treadmill" of top flight football again.

This will make men out of our young squad if they step up, get stuck in, and listen to the manager.
