The way I see it they are best going balls to the wall hanging him out to dry and showing all that he's done in order to leave as few doubters as they can. Some will always remain though
I would think so too. I doubt Pence wants to be remembered as a poor man’s Gerald Ford.

Reports coming out of the inner circle falling apart, pointing of fingers, arguing etc. Kushner seems to be on the receiving end of most of it.

always thought Kushner was the one most likely to go under the bus. He was at the Russian meeting(s) as well so if anything comes of that I'm sure he'll take the fall though that would almost certainly kill any hopes Ivanka has of running for POTUS.

I think long term this is their best bet but I think they might be too addicted to what success his populism has had. They need to try and find a route where they don’t alienate the more moderate and his more rabid fans. Something like a pardon seems like it might satisfy both.

Haven’t really seen anything to suggest Ivanka is interested in running in her dad’s footsteps. She was barely on the campaign trail and has always been much more interested in moving with the New York/DC power circles than hitting the road. Of course, she’s persona non grata with those people now, and probably too liberal for most of the Republican base anyway. I’m sure she’ll find someone who will pay through the nose for speeches etc.

Don Jr is the most likely one to run for office, but with it being both easier and more lucrative to stick to the Fox News/alt-right news circuit instead, I doubt he’ll amount to much either. As much as people like the idea of political dynasties, Donald Trump was always something of a one-off.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re divorced in a year.

Soooo. He’s taking it well.

Actually better than I expected. I'd expected him to dispatch the army to those states that didn't vote for him, have a shoot-on-sight policy for anyone near the White House and declare martial law by now.

Mind you, he may have tried and they just refused.

There's some folk who were very vocal on Election night that seem to have gone missing. Someone checked in on them yet?

Still playing division and fear and blame politics. He’s going nowhere for now and I can’t see it before jan
Never really thought about it before as we've been dealing with grown ups but keeping a President who has lost in power for another couple of months maybe not the best way to do things.

What happens if he starts trying to make as much mess as possible before he is forced out?

Well, hopefully they have put him in really large diapers.

See Pence has tried to take credit for the Pfizer vaccine, swiftly followed by Pfizer saying he's talking bollocks and the US government had zero involvement.

My wife has been saying for the last couple of years that the Melania body language has her doing a bunk as soon as he lost the election. I see there are a couple of papers today picking up on the same story. She's offski!

Interesting article arguing that Biden managed to pull off a win where other Democrats might have failed: Analysis: Biden won a race another Democrat may have lost

Not surprised to see that from CNN. Oblivious to the fact that the candidate as much on the fringe as possible beat the ultimate mainstream candidate in 2016. This was a referendum on Trump where not being Trump mattered quite a lot.

Biden’s campaign hiding him away was the master stroke of 2020

Unbelievable. He's now trying to apologise. But simply un-fucking-believable.

I see her mum moved to the US in 1958 and her dad was born in Jamaica. Kamala Harris, obviously born in the US.
