I think it's because the lurker has been banned.

I find it quite amusing they still come back to look...

I had no idea black people celebrated Christmas.
I've filmed Xmas day over the years of the kids growing up, then the grandkids. This emulates exactly that - a typical British family at Xmas. This ad is nice and homely and I can't see why there's so much fuss.
I guess some will moan but rather this version of Xmas than some made up ultra diverse offering such as divorcees of two different colours, now living together with their respective offspring, with the neighbours coming round who happen to be in a same sex relation ship, then the carol singers are at the door: a mixture of kids with every colour/heritage imaginable accompanied by bloke with a prostetic leg and a pregnant mum who's pushing her granny in a wheelchair.....apologies for any box not ticked there.
I like this ad, don't know if it's genuine historical footage or they've shot it to look like that, but it's lovely and anybody on twatter who's offended, no worries there's another one with a white family doing the same, so you can go to Sainsburys too.

Nothing at all mate I know your mixed race yourself - just trying to make the point there are adverts/posters/billboard/newspaper ads etc. that go overboard trying to appeal to every imaginable race/gender/colour just to sell their products. It was all going so well. What’s wrong with mixed race families enjoying Christmas. You are uninvited to the steel band lessons.
It wouldn't offend me in the slightest. Just would be so unrealistic and obvious they don't give a crap about people, just as long at they hit as many target audiences as possible. Again, as per Hill, sorry if this offends you.So this version of the Sainsbury's Xmas ad doesn't upset you, but a more diverse one would? You don't have to tick any boxes, just not be a twat about people who aren't like you / your ideal life.
Which of you's up for the transgender role this year?Nah I’m not offended. My Nan was in a wheelchair though and I’ve got gay cousins. And we’ve all been in the same house on Christmas Day. Never done Carol singing though and we’ve all got our own legs.

This year is the year. Get yourself a Sainsbury's ad out of it, with the added benefit of being able to social distance more easily when you go shopping as a result of it.One of my best mates is transgender, now a woman. Another year or so until they can start the op side of things. Never seen her on Christmas Day though.
Some people really do live a sheltered life.

Not only that, but carrots that seem delighted to be eaten!
Eh?Disrespectful and idiotic.
I’m making the same point...
Minor technicality but it’s The Stag and Pheasant.Food is a great cultural leveller imo. 'Desi pubs' are a great example of this, there's some cracking ones over Brum/Black Country way. In Cov there's the Stag and the Crow on Lockhurst lane, the Hollybush and the Lion's Inn. You'll find white, asian and black fellas enjoying the beer and the food. Nothing goes better with a curry and a chilli/cheese naan than a cold pint.

Used to be in the Stag and Pheasant most weekday lunchtimes in the early eighties. Sounds like it's improved a bit now (was full of twats like me back then).Minor technicality but it’s The Stag and Pheasant.
It used to be my favourite Indian in Cov and does great food and a very decent pint but it has now been replaced by The New Horseshoes on Foleshill Road, another desi pub, which supersedes it on both food and drink and (bold statement incoming) has the finest pint in Cov as their Cobra on draft is a thing of beauty!!!!
Fucking hell mate, fair enough when you’re just a normal lad who happens to be black, but going all out to tick boxes with your friends and family. It’s just too much.
Not enough Albinos at Christmas time.
Why not me??? Thats not fair! 2020 sucks!I think people are just braindead now and try to just act emotional.
I used to like looking at comments of a middle aged bloke on Tiktok doing an awkward rehearsed dance routine and looking like he's having a fit.
"Your videos make my day"
"You smashed that trending dance"
"It makes me so happy to see these dances"
"Ignore the hate, you are on point"
It's like people type overly emotional stuff just to try and compete. Fuck off you bellends.
It's not as if the Sainsburys ad is saying "we wish black people a happy christmas but not you pasty white fuckers".

I'm usually a hotter the better man but have fell in love with their Chicken Saag!! And the biryani thinking about it. The cheese chilli naan's are outstanding and the samosa's are immense. You are of course right pal, it's also the Crow in the Oak I think...To my shame i've not tried the food at the Horseshoes. What do you recommend?

Their specialities are doing massive grills of tikka, kebabs, pakora's etc so if there's a few of you, you can just share it all between you.
And the pints of Cobra, have I mentioned the pints of Cobra?
I spent just shy of 5 months in Sri Lanka, India and Nepal which basically ruined my Indian food experiences here as it all tastes shit in comparison but this is as good as I've had in the UK (there was also this one place in Derby but have forgotten it's name).
It's also a bit spit and sawdust, you go up to order etc. but I would definitely recommend a visit anyway!

Same road, different place.Am I imagining at the Wheatsheaf a hut in the back where they sold Indian food?
I am sure years ago I'd had a few and ended up in a pub down that way and going out the back and getting some food.
