I'm happy we got Walker in because now we have two good options to choose from. However, we probably need to explore bringing in a loanee in Jan - Baka looks to be bombed out and we cannot rely on Biamou taking his chances. Frankly, I don't think either are good enough at this moment. I had hope for Baka as he looked like he had that determination to kick on, but that doesn't seem to have happened.

Today was just odd because I felt we were getting close to knowing our best 11 (injuries permitting). I totally get Robins feeling that he had to do something to stem the tide of goals conceded but our winning chances were also nullified by the changes. Again if you had Godden up with Walker tonight, I think we win. The problem is when one isn't available the alternatives aren't a threat.

Do some of you actually read what you post before you post it? Jesus. Here's a fun social media game for you. Your Idiot name is your first name, plus whatever your surname is

What if he breaks down injured? It’s not worth it for one game. There’s 8 games between now and 19/12. Let him play one a week for the next few weeks and then he can build on it. There’s games over Xmas too. Hopefully dacosta might be ready then.

After sleeping on that result I am happy with it as we have kept a clean sheet against a really good team (based on players they have) like they had a flippin Spanish international in midfield.
I think we played really well but not good enough for the win though

do tell. Which 3 teams is our budget better than ?

Wed be similar to Barnsley Rotherham and better than Wycombe. I doubt Luton is huge. Barnsley and Luton certainly had lower budgets than teams that were relegated last season.

Sunderland Blackburn and wolves have all been relegated from this league

People can’t bather on robins is king if he can’t influence anything with what he has got

How did you think Robins done last night with his set up ?

At least he tried to stem goals. The one thing I found very odd was an admission Dabo was not fit but he had no one else.

He obviously thinks Giles cannot compete as a full back and Pask is not capable

Robins has a pattern of freezing players out then having to include them

Re signing Bakayoko was a bad decision and we have other players like Pask Kastaneer Hillsner and Jobello who are never likely to play and we can’t get rid of them. That’s 5 first team players who are not good enough

We are a quarter of the way through the season and Robins seems to have no idea what his best formation/team is? Does nobody find that concerning?

Some will passively accept relegation - to me he’s utter incapable at this level and always has been

No because Robins knows what he is doing and he knows his best system and players he is exoerimenting as we have injuries and players returning who do not fit in the system as it is so he is looking for a way to fit them in

Hilßner may get a chance, MR have an injury update earlier this week and it seems that he’s still struggling a bit with his asthma. As for Jobello, he’s making a comeback from a bad injury - he’ll find a way back for him.

I’m surprised we didn’t experiment with Giles as a wide player further up the field.

I don't want to, but I'm starting to agree. One thing I know for sure, as much as I respect what he's done, staying in this league is way more important than loyalty to the manager. Football is cut throat and if the change needed to keep us up is the one at the top, I'm all for it.

It’s hard to disagree that Robins has had a poor season so far. Tactically we’ve looked a level below the majority of teams we’ve faced.

Think you will be in the minority there mate! There shouldn’t even be a mention of Robins being replaced this early and I’d say even if we went down aswell.
If we did go down and are not making an impact at the top end by next Christmas then fair enough.
Not sure there is or will be a better fit for this basket case of a club at the minute.

I find it hard to accept that people would be ok with relegation. We came up as champions. Failing to finish above the other 2 promoted teams plus 1 other would be a failure.

I thought they looked pretty poor & one dimensional to be honest - all they had going for them was they looked solid...typical dull Karanka team

His last game for Spain was 4 years ago, he isn’t at that level anymore or wouldn’t be playing for Birmingham City. It’s like saying we had an England international in Joe Cole
