And thats the point. You come across on here as always right and we have to bow down to your far superior knowledge of football and your 'love" of the club. You slag anyone who disagrees with you and the reason why people get pissed off on here.

By the way wasn't me who sent the PM either.

CUS has got a point, you do come across as a bit of a condescending div from time to time.

I don't think i slag anyone I don't agree with and I certainly don't think i'm right. All the time, Infact, i rarely am. However,if people come out with stuff such as ''we won't sign anyone'' or ''we will definitely get relegated' then I will disagree. There's very few people that know i will disagree with, though you're an exception to that rule.

People generally get pissed off with me because i refuse to constantly attack the or moan about everything. I will go whatever, that's just the way it is. If that pisses you off then so what, ignore me.

I recall on an old CCFC forums somebody wanting to bet me a grand that City would win promotion back to the Premiership before we were relegated. I told him is willingly put a grand up to somebody trusted, but he didn't get back to me.

I also recall a guy called Supermac on the same forums who hated my realistic take on things, I was called names, told to support Villa/Leicester etc. I was eventually proven right, and I take no joy in it. I'd rather be wrong and see the City do well, but I tell things as I see it without letting my heart rule my head.

i have to agree

No-one can tell me one striker force in the entire football league that would be worse the Rod and Jeffers if / when Cody gets injured.

That alone tell me that we will struggle !

If we were kicking off tomorrow without another striker then i would agree. However, we have seven weeks to go yet. However, i'm sure you'll quote yourself in a few weeks if that turns out to be the case.

Are you really that deluded???

The reason people moan is because we have PLENTY to moan about?

What is there actually to be upbeat about?

I said we would get relegated last season and we did. Not saying I wanted us to get relegated. I went 12 away game last season and wanted us to win everyone. We didn't so that's why I moan because thorn and his tactics/mentality away from home was wrong and our record backed that up.

I understand there's a lot to moan about. I'm just not a moaner, never have been. At the start of every season I've always said to my mates, "this will be our year"; I've only been right once.

I've always been the type of supporter where I've believed that something better is just around the corner. Happy with the situation at CCFC? No. Deluded? Maybe. Will it stop me going to cheer them on? Never.

Spoken like a true fan - you will find 5,000 like you but not too many of them on here.

so imagine for one minute that for the past 24 years you think something good is round the corner...

And when that haesnt happened once, or hardly come close to it (apart from 2005, where we came 8th), and then imagine you cant see that it will ever happen under these owners, and then imagine its at a time when you are trying to get your son to support ccfc so the next generation of fans come through...

Thats pretty muich where i am at.

My first game was in '88, riding on a crest of optimism and good feeling. I'm either a loyal home team fan or the world's most moronic glory supporter.

Best statement I've read today (with the possible exception of Kilbane if anything comes of that.)

First thing I said to someone after the Spain match was "Whatever state Cov are in atm, I can't wait to start the season again."

It's just not the same on a Saturday without either being at the game or watching the away results on the Beeb (can't afford to go to many away games :( )

derby took a punt on him only last year when he was 34, hes obviously still fit

jsut 2 years ago he helped huddersfield to l1 playoff final, he can do a job for us and i really hope we get him as with him and fleck thats our midfield pretty much sorted imo(if we dont fire deegan)

Similar for me. My six year old son has been going for three years now. He's not particularly bothered about the game, he just goes for the hot dogs, but he goes, which is important.

I'm 46 and this is my fortieth year, so the age as my son is now. Success is important, of course, but if that was my sole motivation for going then i would have given up long ago! I'm one of those annoying pricks who will always go, no matter where we end up. My dadhas been going for 65 years and he is the same.
