Kids school completely closed due to multiple positive tests in most years One of the mums says it’s only been household transmissions and not at school. No idea how she’d know. All pupils advised to get a test. That’s blue coat in Coventry

So, this woman thinks that ALL these kids independently caught Covid at home in numerous separate settings and just happened to be at the same school....

Now, that is possible and could well be how it initially got started with one or two individuals, but highly unlikely compared to the opposite which is it got into the school and spread.

Looking like nobody will be in tier 1 to start with

To make it more interesting they could announce it like old TV gameshow Bullseye. IIIIIIN ONE! Of course it'd have to be done by Priti patel so we could have Bully's Special Prize of a speedboat you're not allowed to use cos you're not allowed anywhere.

Other option I heard was having it read out by the football results guy... Liverpool 3.....Manchester 2. Coventry 2....Birmingham 3. The arts vs the self employed - match abandoned.

Some kind of televised, Eurovision-style announcement would be good. "Hello, good evening, Wakefield calling...."

So now we know why the vaccine data was apparently downplayed on Monday I think.
The subset was under age 55 , other brand's have put the boot in .

And what? The reporting of this is fucking shameful.

if you are under you have the same risk of catching the virus as over 55s do. It's the severity of effects that may differ and this frankly has not baring on the ability of a vaccine to create immunity to a virus.

The FDA may not approve it? Good we'll take it all as it works and is far easier to use than the Pzifer vaccine.

I had to have a test at the Ricoh last week and it was the busiest I have ever seen it.

Some proper miserable fuckers working there though.

Why do you keep saying downplayed? The latest claims about the AZ trials (if you take them seriously) would surely argue the opposite?

Think they are going to need to clarify how they've worked this out. At first look the tiers don't really track with the case numbers or hospital admissions.

If people think its not valid are they less likely to stick to the rules?

People won’t stick to rules anyway - generally people are fed up with it - though I’m not sure where people will go

My work's re-opening on Wednesday, anyway(!)

I now officially have no clue what any of this means.

Break the rules and do what though? Kick the pub door in and pour myself a pint.

Is pubs the only thing that's different? I've lost track to be honest with them keep changing things.

Just seen someone say no indoor exercise in tier 3 but gyms can open. How does that work?
