so you seriously thought that was a good performance??

and I don't want Robins sacked (I haven't been the one consistently calling for a taxi like some twat on here has been) - but i hope we don't see tonight's formation again. it negates our style and takes away our key strengths on the flanks with Rose and Dabo for a start.

Our key strengths resulted in us conceding more goals than any other team in the league and we were on track to conceded nearly 100 goals over the season

Given even last season we hardly won games by more than one goal we’d be going out having to score 3 to win a game. Impossible.

So we have had to adapt. We are an inferior team in this league and we have to scrap games. The 5 subs gives us options to Chuck people up the pitch if we have to to save games.

We are on an unbeaten run and we are looking capable of competing when we fight and scrap.

people need to forget the notion we are a good team at this level and accept we need to be a fighting team - which looked impossible a few weeks ago and now looks possible

4 games unbeaten in the championship

Concede goals for fun trying to attack too much and he's vilified , stop conceding go on an unbeaten 4 game run and he's vilified
I'm glad he's in charge and not some of the drama queens on here

Why are we pretending that we haven’t had a massive shift in quality of opposition since the break? Even Norwich were down to the bare bones and poor on the day. We should’ve picked up 10 points the last 4, not 6.

Because their finishing is awful, just look over the chances. Whereas against Norwich they created little apart from a 5 minute spell. Then you laughed off the idea of going 5-3-2 in that game and we scored afterwards, and again only scored tonight with 2 up front.

Never admits a mistake and keeps ignoring that he wanted Robins sacked prior to this run
I'm struggling to recall the chances and any as gilt edged as the two we missed

Why o hare didn't purposely run into their keeper after he missed a sitter I don't know. He actually dived out of the way of a clear pen

Bit unfair on the manager whos got us here
Not really, we we very poor against a very poor Derby side, we should of been going at them from the start, we can play football that would of battered these tonight but we didnt even look like a Sunday league side for the most part. Sitting back, letting them come on to us the way we did was the wrong way to approach a team that struggles to score with a defensive record almost as bad as ours.

Kazim first half put it wide
Near end of first half man free in the box but blasted it at Wilson
Hitting the bar from point blank at 1-0

Just 3 off the top of my head and we were carved open plenty of times 2nd half-still of course accuse me of wanting the side to lose

If we set-up like that against Rotherham on Saturday we will lose. This team has goals if we set-up properly and attack from the start.

At least Rotherham lost today and we are 4 pts clear of relegation.

I'm not sure I understand his thinking. We go away to the league leaders and we play a formation that is familar to us and which has reaped rewards over the last 18 months. We play well and cause them a lot of problems. We then play the team bottom of the table and switch to a formation that seems to be more about containing the opposition and which seems to make key players almost redundant. Surely we're not going to spend a season switching formation every few days.

What I don't get is why all our forward players get slagged off in one breath but we're blaming Robins negativity and shit formations on the other. Can't have your cake and eat it on that one.

2 up front from the start wins that game tonight

Think I suggested that before kickoff :( Walker, Max or anyone on their own is a voyage into pointlessness this season. We don't want to play the ball forward as the striker can't keep it on his own so we play it backwards. And backwards. And back to the keeper. Who then hoofs it upfield where the striker can't keep it so it comes back. 2 up front would at least give us a better chance of holding on to the ball in the oppos half for a bit.

The two in the first half where Kazim Richards took the piss out of Hyam and when we left a man over at the far post and Wilson stopped it.

They had a couple of decent penalty shouts second half as well, and hit the bar when it was easier to score. They could’ve had 4/5 today.

We had 3 good chances a disallowed goal and a penalty claim - dear me
Not often we agree, but agreed. A draw was probably about right.

Derby were better than Forest, and we lost that game (granted that we played a different system then) So for me it a point gained and now unbeaten in 4

NB. Truce over

To be fair, I thought Derby played quite well, with confidence, and I can see them moving up the league. I thought we were off the pace tonight, sloppy, and with a number of players underperforming. Shipley was disappointing, as was McCallum. Sam’s form is concerning, he offers little going forward and struggled defensively. MR should have taken Sam off and brought Giles over to left back. O’Hare buzzed around but wasn’t really effective. Having said all of this, a point away is ok, and we could have won, given our chances.

Should have , could have , would have.
Fact is we are unbeaten in 4 , 2 conceded , one of which was an appalling penalty decision and we're slowly but surely drawing back the teams above us.
It's not pretty but it's effective , I wouldn't care if he went the rest of the season with none up front if we stay up , that has to be the one and only objective

The formation doesn’t give attackers much hope. It’s asking Walker to pull something out of nothing, like he did at Cardiff.

Also already got 6 points from the current block of 5

4 of Your next 5 games will be same, he shits himself at this level when playing fellow relegation strugglers, he see them as mustn’t lose games rather than very winnable.

He's won us 2 promotions in 3 years, the job is to keep us up.

He started the season playing the way we played for a year and it didn't work... We were conceding goals left and right, he has a cracking number 2 who also has his input on match day.. Weve not lost in 4 and are slowly picking up despite todays horrible performance.... His time at Barnsley is of complete irrelevance because it was 10 years ago

Woeful performance from us.
We made a shite Derby side actually look quite good.

Only positive for me was Wilson.

Desperate nonsense as always.

You just want to be proven right about playing a back 4 and you are totally blind to a very poor performance.

Starting the game with the formation we played against the leaders Norwich would have won us this game.
