Who are we to doubt Robins, he’s done incredible job. We are all very happy with the results. This turn around was hardly unexpected, just before the turnaround we actually played well at At Forest and at Watford just naive defending, and the oppo just nicked the game when it was in the balance.

During this run we have had a crucial bit of luck at crucial times with a couple of disallowed goals. Which deserted us earlier in season.

We all pay our money (season tickets/shirts/iFollow) etc we are entitled to a little moan at times.

The thing is we are doing well in games we should be doing well in. We usually mess these kind of games up.

Chances are we aren't going to beat the likes of Bournemouth, Blackburn, Brentford, Norwich, so we need to pick up as many point as we can against Wycombe, Huddersfield, etc.

Haven't read this thread 'Form'. But basically having played catchup due to lack of games training, making a huge step up quality wise into this league, we are making more than steady progress.

Plus we have been hampered by injuries to our better players.

The only moan I have is the amount of stupid and needless penalties we have given away.

I like the fact we seem to have a squad togetherness and ethics ....rather than about 6 individuals.

We are getting points in games v teams who will be around (hopefully below) us at end of season. That’s a success in my book

I don't think anyone is unhappy at all. People are allowed to have an opinion that certain players or tactics aren't quite right. If we were just clapping seals then what would be the point?

It's kind of odd this notion that because we have won, we are not allowed to critique the game. I doubt Robins and the squad will go into training on Monday and say 'ok lads perfect performance Saturday, we don't need to review any of it'.

I think we have conceded one goal from open play in 7 games? Fantastic turnaround in such a short period of time and with our first choice keeper injured.

agree, though we need to get rid of this habit of conceding penalties, though that was never a pen for me today.

I haven't seen anyone who is unhappy with the current form?

You must avoid the Match Threads then. Some have moaned about results despite the unbeaten run, vitriol is regularly aimed at certain players who are doing their best, team news is criticised before every single game etc.

On the match thread today Robins was called "brainless" & that was after the final whistle. 🙄

Fair fucking play to everyone involved at the club. This is an incredibly hard division and we’re playing with a (financial) hand behind our back. I still think there will be times when we’re near the bottom of that table so it’s good to see us having some great form. Another year in this league could be everything to the club.

Earlier in the season people were saying we'd thrown the towel in, because we were losing to the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth.

Meanwhile Wycombe drew with Watford and that apparently meant they were putting up more of a fight and showing they want it more. Just ridiculous.
And now when we best that Wycombe team its not good enough and a poor performance

I remmeber seeing a post syaing relegate us now

And instead of apologising these idiots say they are entitled to their opinion!

I think with the recent set of results and the frequency we are able to come out with an equal or better result, which is also increasing with a higher ratio: there may be a good possibility this match against Huddersfield may be the first time, this season, we get back-to-back wins in the league.

100% agree with this; the signs were there before this run that the team was adapting and stepping up. Some on here completely lost the plot after the Forest game which was very unfortunate at a moment when individuals and the team needed our support.

I think a lot of them just need something to moan about. Might be good for them to vent, especially at this time. I don’t agree with them at all, but I don’t really care about it.
The thing I will say is the constant barrage of abuse about tactics and a couple of players isn’t on, and extremely boring. 2 games a week, with injuries and threats of suspension... it’s so obvious Robins has to try and keep it fresh.

Brilliant run and we are doing great.. but I really hope people remember this and don't start up the doom and gloom from a few weeks back. the fixtures will toughen up and results will be harder to come by.

as I've said on other threads the fixtures were incredibly unbalanced. We had a huge run of very difficult games straight out of the blocks, seemed like it was one relegated Prem team or last year's play off contender after another. We did so well to keep our heads above the water then. Conversely we have had a very favorable run of fixtures recently which we have handled well but soon enough we will hit a run against the big guns again and I just hope people stay calm.

Firstly a forum is a place of different views and not everyone is the same. For. me Robins is proving his ability and still learning. Form wise this unbeaten run is as much about Liam Kelly and Robins introducing him back to the team, the next challenge is doing it without Kelly starting with Huddersfield hopefully after playing with Kelly sheaf.,hamer might have picked up some of his nous. Think we should enjoy it for what is as we all know it will end ar somepiont.

If you are giving those opinions without being objective - especially giving broader evaluations of Robins game by game - then the opinion is either being:

a) deliberately provocative or
b) negative with lack of justification

not saying opinion’s are wrong. An opinion can never be wrong but a lot of this is an awkward read when we have gone 7 unbeaten in the Championship, in whatever circumstances.

So you're saying my opinion might not be wrong, but it is provocative and negative?

This is a forum. People are supposed to offer different opinions.

It is pretty easy to weed out the people who don't watch the games because they only look at the results. By the looks of it, that includes you.

Most of the comments following the game were positive, but that doesn't mean there aren't various points to discuss. This whole notion that we are not allowed to pick the game apart because we've won is just really strange.

At what point in my quote did I say your opinion was provocative or negative?

And don’t make judgments on whether I just look at the result’s.

The problem is some of it isn't subjective it's just lhysterical ranting with no grounding in reality.

Remember it is during the match and people watching/listening have that tension allied to it. They're very emotionally invested at the time of writing.

We won yesterday, which is great, but that doesn't mean to say there was nothing to criticise about the performance. Against a better team we'd have left with nothing, and against a good one we may well have got soundly beaten. That needs to be acknowledged. IMO we've had games we've lost this season that we've played better in.

You can't just go into the next game thinking "well we won so it's all fine" cos sooner or later it will bite you on the arse. I'm sure MR will be highlighting stuff we did wrong or need to improve on.
