Load of wank.

Wilson at fault
O'Hare anonymous
Strikers like statues

Pulis made the first positive change and got a goal.

We were never going to score, our best chance was their defender.

Feels like one of those results that starts a bad run.

Their manager made the changes to win it he’s a manager at the level who knew what was needed,we’ve been getting away with it weeks...luck ran out today, the level of performance has been worrying

Sheaf 5?! I mean there’s been a lot said about him in recent weeks but he and Allen were very decent today. It’s not their fault we had two players who wouldn’t have looked out of place in non league today

Probably a bit harsh tbf, would bump to a 6 thinking about it.

O'Hare and Bakayoko I honestly don't think I could argue a case for anything above zero. O'Hare still looks so raw sometimes. Falls over constantly, runs into trouble and can't control the ball within 5 yards of himself.

Wilson 5 that cross field ball was utter stupidity and cost us the game, like I said last week I'd take him out of the side

Robins 4 - we don't look like a team unbeaten in 8, you wouldn't have known from the start. Let's try and go out to beat teams that are there to be beat ffs. Took far too long to get Giles on.

Wilson 6

One very good save 1v1, poor pass out leading to the free kick and then dithered leading to the goal. Still, decent on balance.

Dabo 5

I’m a huge Dabo fan, wasn’t quite at it today.

Ostigard 6

Did alright in my opinion.

McFadzean 7

Good solid performance, good passing and moving forward. Did his job.

Hyam 6

Not a lot wrong with his performance.

McCallum 6

Didn’t set the world on fire but got involved and showed some effort.

Allen 5

I didn’t think he played well or offered a great deal. Others have their opinion but that said, I don’t think many Championship managers look at the team sheet the day before and think “oh shit, Jamie Allen is playing”. IMHO not performing at this level at the moment.

Sheaf 6

I’m not a fan but he did a bit better today. Two good chances banged over the bar and a free kick in a dangerous position totally wasted aside, a bit better. That said, reminds me of Stephen Hughes (after season 1) which isn’t a compliment.

O'Hare 6

Lots of effort, some good running, no end product. I may as well cut this comment and save to clipboard. Paste every week.

Walker 5

Not at the races today.

Biamou 6

I think he did ok. Put himself about and was a nuisance.

Bakayoko 3

He must have a ringer who attends training and does enough for MR to think he can play; because whoever was on the pitch today cannot.

Godden 5

Cameo

DaCosta 5

Cameo

Giles 6

Useful cameo

Overall,

Without either Kelly or Hamer we are too lightweight / predictable in the middle.

The 3 centre backs were solid, sheaf played well and allen. They switched the play nicely. Just no creativity, o’hare must be knackered and we have no other creative options. Baka tried, but he was terrible, id give up on him now, I would rather give kast another go, at least he looks confident. Very frustrating game, draw would have been fair. Hopefully this extra rest helps us.

Was O'Hare that bad? (I couldn't watch today)

I've thought for a while that, talented as he is, he rarely seems able to change a game/dictate play on his own. He seems to fare much better when Hamer is in the side, who does have that quality. O'Hare's work rate is exceptional, but for someone in such an important role in the side, I wonder if this is all coming a bit soon for him.

Wilson 5 (looked very good again with 2 decent stops but marked down 2 for his stupid error leading to the goal and indecisiveness dealing with resultant free-kick)
Dabo 5 (poor use of the ball most of the game. One decent cross but otherwise not able to get forward)
McCallum 6 (poor first half and improved in the second. Looked a good option at left centre back when Giles came on)
Ostigard 8 (another solid performance)
McFadzean 8 (motm. Wasn't really troubled. Unlucky with header that was cleared off the line)
Hyam 8 (back on his game. Assured)
Sheaf 7 (improved as the game went on with his distribution. Goal saving block first half)
Allen 7 (some decent set pieces. Nice ball for O'Hare chance when he slipped. At times disappointed with his passing. Good energy)
O'Hare 6 (looked a very frustrated player. It's one thing being busy and working hard but needs to create more)
Walker 5 (needlessly off-side a couple of times. Won a couple of free-kicks - that's it)
Biamou 6 (nice play for early chance and won a number of headers but never able to impose himself enough)

Baka 5 (had a chance to hit the ball first time but chose to take a touch and then shot blocked. Did not do enough)
Giles 7 (looked dangerous and sharp. Good crosses. Should have come on earlier)
Dacosta 6 (some good touches but gave away a needless free-kick allowing them to waste more time)
Godden 6 (good to see him back)
Kastaneer 6 (tried being positive)

Comments are too harsh - and personally very surprised by the criticism of O’Hare.

Their goal was down to a mistake by our keeper, followed by Baka not marking his man. Individual mistakes cost us and today’s game could have gone either way.

Reasons to be positive. 4 key players missing today, we’re 18th in the division - and competing in every game. We’re going to be ok - stick with the lads and have confidence that we’ll learn from this one.

for me, we just don't get O'Hare on the ball where he's most effective.

Kastaneer wasn't on the pitch when they scored.

We lost the game to a set play. Did you all not see McFazdean move run towards Baka who lost his man at the far post? McFaz was furious with him.
the only people coming out of this with credit are the back three. What annoyed me is the lack of creativity in midfield...it seemed like Ostogard was our best midfielder at times!

Why are we leaving baka to mark 2 players? Stupid zonal marking again.
