What was a better result, Watford away lose 3-2 or Preston away lose 2-0?

We're playing worse football and getting worse results against worse sides. Making us strong at the back and try and nick a win will work for a while but the managers at this level have a bit more nouse and will work out we're offering nothing going forward and plan for us. Now we need to adjust our game so we have an attacking threat.

A bit frustrated by that, but players put in a really good first half display. When they got the second, we tried something different, whilst resting Sheaf and O'Hare for the Millwall game. Although Sheaf made a howler, he, Hamer and O'Hare dominated the middle of the park. Godden will get fitter, and Dabo looked like his old self. Giles couldn't dominate that Fisher, so was ineffective and that hampered us. There were positives from that for me. Frustrating, but we were easily the best team in the first half and the second was just scrappy when we made our changes. Move on, but no need for implosion, based on that.

but we're 17th, we'd have took it.
I struggle to understand people who said at the start of the season staying up would be an achievement but are now moaning because we're not playing free flowing attacking football. Teams that just stay up don't tend to do that.

And we've still scored more than 7 other teams in the league and are level on 20 with a further 2 so as much as lack of goals is a concern there are teams for who it's a bigger concern at the moment.

Only Wycombe have conceded more though.

Preston had conceded more than us before tonight. Another confidence boost free of charge. No goals in 4.5 games, people are right to moan about that. Particularly having seen the displays

Nope but I can blame robins for putting him on.

It's shocking decision making. Far too obvious that we would wait until we go 2 down.

Feel sorry for Shipley but clearly not the player to bring on at 2 down. And not at this point s championship player.

Feel like screaming into a pillow after watching that. Need some fucking threat in behind, easiest game of the season for the PNE defence there. Saying that, it weren't far off for ours but we fucked ourselves.

Shipley doesn’t impact from the bench and Godden does have enough pace to get away from players at this level.
Tbf to Robins he has few options, but Shipley isn't a Championship player and isn't going to be changing a game.

When you're bringing on a guy who just runs around harrying players, and an enthusiastic young kid, you know you aren't going to be creating much.

Same old story. Playing like Brazil knocking the ball about until we get to the 25 yard box then we are clueless and frightened to shoot. One chance from a stupid mistake by Sheaf and we are losing.
For me Sheaf has been poor all season and would prefer Kelly any day. Dont really see the hype surrounding his loan and hope we can give him back the end of the season
Where does the 25 yard box start?

Can't moan otherwise your not a proper fan.
Fucking hell I've got you on one side saying 'You can't criticise' and procdoc on the other saying 'you never stop criticising'

All I've done is offered objective criticism but said if your reaction is to dump the club off then its unreasionable. Go on Facebook and ask to use the community braincell and you might process it given a week or two.

I think it's just the manner of a self inflicted defeat Clint, i expect us to struggle but some of the errors are schoolboy stuff, that's what is so disappointing to me, not the league position or the 7 point gap to the bottom 3.

Truly baffling that a "Target Man" striker has never scored a headed goal. You can see why though, movement is non existent.
Give it a rest - Gillingham away in the Cup. I suppose his worldies don't count either.

Thats the thing isn't it. After Bournemouth we were all on here saying how good they were what a slog it was going to be with such a massive gap in quality. Since then we've rarely been outplayed but we've basically Burged our whole team.

This. It’s the feeling of so close yet so far. We should be too good to go down and if we do then it’ll be because of silly mistakes.

He's also not a target man. He's said in the past he's not a target man, it's not his natural role.

he’s not good enough and Bakayoko is worse so to go in the campaign with two forwards remotely capable was insane. They are never going to make the grade even at league 1 it’s madness
