Thomas would improve our squad. Would you rather bring on Shipley who's completly shot and unfit or Thomas who will be 100mph, stretching play and making space for godden.

I think this is fair comment, I think I prefer "good" Shipley to Thomas, however, you know what you get when you bring Thomas on.

Armund Gnanduillet has just been released by Turkish side Altay.

Not the most glamorous of options but he did well at Blackpool and had a number of Championship sides chasing him last summer. Could offer something different. Wages are probably relatively inexpensive too.

No. That kind of money wouldn't be near enough to get someone decent in in one position let alone all three, esp considering wages.

Plus you've got to bed them in to the squad and team which takes time. Better to stick with what we know for the time being. Even in the summer £5m would be a poor price to get for him.
You couldn’t replace a player that cost £1.3m with £5m? Ok mate.

Hmmm what we thinking ? Could we be one of them 👀

just read a tweet which said he's in talks with 2 Championship clubs, didn't elaborate further. Given our current striking predicament it would be nice to think we're at least exploring bringing someone in.

Robins words are good on Facebook

Looking to move straight away in the transfer market but move people out to move people in looks the reality
Yep my guess is 2 Come in

anyway can’t be true @SlowerThanPlatt says we don’t sign players in jan as we haven’t in past seasons so it’s not happening 😬 we also don’t have any money 🙃

Baka

Will be 3 you could get money for and probably on bigger wages

Hilsner
Jobello

look to get out on loan if can’t get rid of them

bring in 2 players attacking and defensive midfielder’s

I think we'd do exceptionally well to find a club that would pay a fee for Baka, Pask or Mason.

ROBINS HOPING TO DO SOME TRANSFER MARKET BUSINESS

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has told the club website that he is hoping to do some business in the transfer market.

Robins said: "We’ve done okay this season, we’ve played some brilliant football and we’ve lost some games we’ve deserved to win, we’ve deserved to pick up more points than we’ve got, but we haven’t got them so we need to double down and make sure that we keep going.

“It’s been very difficult because we’ve not been able to train, it’s just been game after game after game and injury after injury which means that we’ve not been able to get our strongest possible team out on the pitch.

“Hopefully we can add some quality to the team and to the group, they’ve been brilliant, they’ve given me everything that they’ve got, they’re getting to grips with the level and we just have to keep going and keep working towards our goals.

“I’m definitely looking to do some business in January as soon as the window opens, fingers crossed, the club have been brilliant, during this time it’s very difficult, I want some players to go out and get some games.

“We need a little bit of help in terms of numbers, but we need a bit more quality in there to help the others as well that have been working so hard.”

Positive talk from Robins in terms of adding quality to the squad.

I like him, is he not a bit similar to Godden though?

Doubt we will get anyone to take Kasta on loan unless they guarantee a nice comfy place on the bench for him

Been used as a substitute pretty much all the time we’ve had him. I really like him in that role.
The way we play at 100MPH pressing from the front constantly for 90 minutes, is very energy consuming, so our head coach makes 3 substitutions at the same time in the forward positions around the 60 minute mark, and he’s often one of them, he scares the shit out of tiring defenders with his pace, he’s a brilliant asset in my opinion, but obviously if he’s leaving The club have their eye on a replacement, they believe is better than him.
Whats he been like any end product yet?
