We were on our way up the match and popped in the Rose and Crown for a few beforehand and ended up staying there rather than going the game.

The only other time we did that was Macclesfield in the cup.

Needless to say after missing them two we never did it again.

He comes across as a really decent bloke, he did one of the podcasts a while back as well. Speaks fondly of City even though in essence he only spent just over a year here playing

Quickly became a favourite. Loved him. Remember that Sunderland match. We’d gone 3 up inside 20 minutes I think. Could see Summerbee coming a mile off from over the other side of the pitch - nothing else in his mind but to do damage to Froggatt. Scum move.

I had it in my head that Summerbee got a red for it, but apparently not. Alcock the ref, so not surprising... quite possibly the worst ref I’ve ever seen, along with Steve Lodge.

Gilbert isn’t too bad to be fair to him. It’s the other 2 that are really just there along for the ride.
Other guy didn’t know where Jodi Jones was playing before we signed him, then when Richard Shaw was on they were talking about when we beat Chelsea where they had to wear our away (blue and red squares/chequered) kit when we beat them, resulting in them throwing the kit on the ground at the end of the game.

For goodness sake-do a bit of research, a minimum requirement for any sort of broadcaster/journalist I would have thought.
