I watched the extended highlights of Preston against Forest. Just goes to show the vagaries of football as Preston were far more attacking in this game than they were against us. They created numerous opportunities against Forest including hitting the woodwork 2 or 3 times but couldn't score. Against us they had three chances and scored two.
Forest scored from a dubious penalty made even more dubious as Grabbon appeared to kick the ball twice as he took the pen.
Forest played against Preston as they did against us, yet despite playing poorly, won both games.
Their luck is due to run out, isn't it?

We did, but one good result against a struggling team doesn't automatically mean we're likely to hit near-on promotion form over the next 4 games. Especially against in-form sides who will be full of confidence.

Also doesn't automatically mean we are going to struggle against those teams does it, we will have confidence after the performance on Saturday (especially under the circumstances)

No, it doesn't necessarily mean we're going to struggle, but we hardly steamrolled Birmingham, Forest and Sheffield Wednesday in the reverse fixtures did we? Two losses and a drab draw (curtsey of a misfiring Jutkiewicz) against sub-par or out of form sides and since then two of those have now improved. Hence why I questioned whether 7 points is a realistic target as posters seem to believe thats very achievable.

Granted all of the above are probably more winnable than many of our upcoming fixtures in February but they're still going to be difficult games nonetheless. I suspect we'll get 4-5 points.
