according to The Sun apparently...

I don't read the Sun as I am a Financial Times person myself.

Anyone have a copy to confirm?

Oh if it's in that prestigious paper it's got to be true.

Seriously though I've heard that too. I don't know if it was in the final agreement, but certainly the early plan was to loan him back to us if we are struggling.

I'll believe it when I read it in the Daily Star.

no thanks, i think we need a bit more experience in the middle this season if we're going to be challenging for top six. i belive bigi is going to be a top player but he looked well out of his depth at times last season.....and isnt there a rule where u can't loan back a player who you've just sold

I read he will be considered in the same light as Mehdi Abeid (spelling) and will work with reserves and probably the odd cup sub appearance, European or Domestic.

Would be good to have him back, and maybe Bigi demanded this in his contract, re his reluctance to leaves church and family.

Good interview with him on www.nufc.co.uk

He wouldn't be shit in league one atall. The thing is I think everybody loved Bigi for his potential, could be a top player in a few years time, if we haven't got that to look forward to he's just another kid in league one, he's gone now...best of luck to him, let's get in an experienced midfield general in his place and get the funk out of this division

Its definately a win win, funny how some attitudes change though haha. I would love this to happen, money and keeping the player.

I always laugh when people say a player was 'not good enough anyway' when we sell them, but covisgod makes a good point.

We loved Bigi for his potential alongside his current ability. We'll no longer benefit from that potential. I'd love to have him back, but we have a finite amount of loans and maybe a more experienced player would be more help to us.

I never said bigi was no good,I think its a disgrace that these shysters have cashed in on one of our future stars. People on here were saying yesterday that he'd be no good in league 1 a.d he wasn't that good blah blah.

No thanks I'd rather us not waste a loan signing spot to be honest, some games last season he was shocking, subbed off at half time twice I recall, good luck to him at Newcastle.

Aye, I can't stand those sour grapes. Getting their knickers in a twist because they're gutted they left, so they bring them down to make everything feel better again. Whatever helps a man sleep.

Put it as a different Scenario, Newcastle always had Bigi, he was there up and coming star, then we loaned him, how would you feel then?

Same applies mate, he's too lightweight and inexperienced for the Rome he needs to play in this division, if he'd have stayed I would have been delighted as we'd reap the rewards from him in upcoming years but as a loan signing in league one I don't think it's what we need, we need a solid experienced midfield general that can spray the ball about and be solid as a rock. Not bad mouthing Bigi as I'm his biggest fan by the way

I'd also rather us get someone else in. No sour grapes. But he's gone now and we need to freshen up so if we use the loan system I'd use it to get someone else in. Of course, if we got him back I won't complain.

I'd be happy to see bigi back as long as we signed an experienced central midfielder too. Also don't forget it's back to 7 subs this season so need bodies to fill the bench!

According to the Newcastle Chronicle, Alan Pardeaux believes Bigi will be challenging for first team next season!

Can't seem them loaning him out, what with Europa and Domestic cups.
