Hard to give anyone more than 5 today.
The game was over after 7 minutes, and Norwich new it. It looked like they didnt get out of first gear after the second went in.

On a possitive note, we didnt concede 6, which looked on the cards after 7 minutes.
Baka and Biamou will hopefully be moved on this month, (along with Allen, Pask, and Kastaneer) and we missed our first choice wingbacks. We all know lack of goals is a problem, but O'hare isn't helping the issue, he's a luxury player that we can Ill afford, maybe we should bench him if we ever get a fully fit squad.

Biamou looked better as the lone front man than Walker did. None of his chances were easy.

I despair when I read comments like this.

O’Hare runs his bastard socks off all game, tackles, retrieves and actually retains the football in possession.

Rarely makes mistakes, creates chances and will become a fabulous footballer for City.

You just can’t please some people so quick to criticise and I thought we were supposed to be supporters !

He’s a decent player, no argument there, but the lack of end product is costing us now.
Sooner or later he needs to start taking chances.

I think you maybe misused / misunderstand the phrase "luxury player" tbh 🙈. He definitely needs to start taking his chances mind, just for his own confidence I think.

Possibly, He just frustrates the fuck out of me, he works his nuts off, he’s got bags of talent etc, if only he could add goals to his game he’d be the complete package. (And probably not be here)

Luxury players arent generally renowned for working their nuts off! But yeah definitely, I hope he develops that part of his game with us, because he deserves it

First game I have seen on TV and enjoyed it despite defeat.

What struck me is the wide variation in effectiveness, skills and potential of our players. Overall we are quite a skilful team particularly on the break but clearly lack fire power up front. We have to be realistic with the team and budget, clearly some players are better suited to championship than others but what really are the other current squad options? Interestingly the team looked instantly better when Bapaga and Eccles came on. One last thing, Max Biamou may not be championship standard but he really tried and did well, importantly he is improving.

Wilson 5.5
Ostigard 4.5
Hyam 5
McFadz 5.5
Giles 6
Dacosta 6.5
Shipley 2
Hamer 6
Sheaf 4
O’Hare 7.5
Biamou 7

Baka 3
Bapaga 7
James 5
Eccles 6

I wasn’t able to watch until about the 20th minute so I missed the goals but I will rate from what I saw so if my ratings do not appear what they should be then bare that in mind

Wilson - 6 Didnt really have much to do

Dacosta - 6.5 from what J saw looked like a good back up for Dabo

Osti - 6 was okay but could have been better

Fadz - 6 same reason as Osti

Hyam - 6 again same reason as Osti

Giles - 6 looked lively but thats about

Hamer - 6.5 did decent but more was needed

Sheaf - 5.5 did not see much of him was a bit quiet

Shipley - 4.5 Was poor did not do anything and tried to hard to make it look like he tried rather than putting that effort into actually trying

O’Hare - 6 was running and creating but not finishing

Biamou - 6 Should have had a goal at least if he wants to assure Robins that he is what he needs

James - 6.5 Looked pretty good

Eccles - 6.5 tried to make things happen and tried to move the ball forward on most occasions

Bapaga - 6.5 took players on looked energetic looking forward to seeing him play more

Baka - 5.5 in my opinion a pointless sub as we were chasing the game and there is no chance he would have got us back in it

People on here are slating him for his finishing and if he was a striker I could understand but he is a midfield come attacking player
O’Hare seems to bottle it in front of goal. It was an issue last year that seems to have gotten worse.

Ironically he probably does great in training and it’s only on match day that he fluffs it under pressure.

He strikes me as the type of lad who reads forums, searches himself on Twitter and watched replays of the games and spends time beating himself up. The person putting the pressure on Cal O’Hare is (probably) Cal O’Hare.

Robins could do worse than getting some kind of hypnotist (the type that helps peoples fear of clowns or helps people quit smoking, not a stage performer) so that he can get the jitters out of him.

It’d be an experiment for a few hundred quid, Cal probably costs the club 10k/week (with ins & kit & training).

Feel free to mock my thoughts.

Baka and Biamou will not be moved on this month unless you expect us to either play with no strikers or sign three strikers.

I’ll never forget that miss in the cup game - shocking...I seen a clip of 5-6 chances close to the goal he’s done similar but not as bad as that cup game miss,I don’t see him suddenly becoming a clinical finisher.

Luke Thomas all over again 🤣

Just can’t see us getting rid of all the front line no matter how much you despise them. Walker won’t play much before the beginning of March and it would surprise me to see Godden out till April.

I thinks Godden’s seasons all but done

Callum O'Hare is Luke Thomas Mk2. Looks our most promising attacking player, bags of technical ability and effort, gets you on the edge of your seat but you know deep down inside he's going to miss.

Our Barnsley friend said Thomas is going out on loan probably back to league 1...shows if you don’t find end product where it will end up

no chance O'Hare ends up back in L1 after the way he's performed this season. Anyone who puts him on a par with Thomas, (a player I personally really like), needs a word with themselves.

Thought both O’Hare and Giles (going forward) had decent games...found space and looked as if they might create chances. Problem for O’Hare was either a poor final ball or missing a couple of decent half chances. For Giles the issue was his crosses didn’t find a sky blue shirt. We need to get more than one in the box if we are to benefit from Giles’ work out wide.
Not bothered re result yesterday but increasingly worried by decent defensive displays being marked by one or two costly errors per game
