So who has been our most famous 'one trick Pony'? The guy we loved because of it, or that guy we couldn't wait to get rid of cos he had nothing else!

Max seems to have cornered the market in overhead kicks but I love him more for it

Alex Nimley. Could beat 6 players one game and do nothing the next.

Goalkeepers can be a bit one dimensional.
They always stand between the posts and they seem focused solely on preventing the opposition from scoring.
That's all they do... no imagination

Leigh Jenkinson and his step over.

That's all he had. That was 100% his game.
I used to call it the Jenkinson shuffle. It was a privilege to have seen it live. Didn't he come second to Jon Williams as the fastest player in the league. We didn't get to see him run fast but at least we saw his trick! I still attempt it now and again and it works. I am playing amongst 40 and 50 year olds though. I wonder if anyone has footage of his skill?!

Tony Hateley - heading (ditto George Kirby)
Michael Doyle - passing the ball to the opposition
Danny Fox - free kicks
Adam Armstrong - chipping the goalie
Les Sealey - Long kicks from the hand that required a full minute's preparation
