Indeed. Sisu of course bought us the genius that is Andy Thorn which I assume Rich87, NLHWC and Sky Blue John are very supportive of and yet I am the Sisu lover apparantly. How odd.

I thopught Ranson appointed him?

You seem to know a lot about my opinions for someone who only registered last month. Why don't you come clean and say what your username really is instead of being such a sad pathetic wanker all the time?

SISU themselves announced the bid back last summer and again in Jan/Feb time. The offer was the nominal £1 for the club and then cash to repay SISU a portion of their loans.

Your adulation for Thorn is well known. My username is hardly a secret. Also I object to that sort of language particular from a so called moderator. Tut Tut.

Calm down children!

Whilst it's good to see such passion, & healthy to have a broad spectrum of opinion - let's not degenerate into some kind of "Prime Minister Questions" on any thread.

Personal insults suggest to me that you have nothing constructive to add...in which case...say nothing.

No, it was Ken Dulieu. You must have been disappointed when he left, such a visionary to appoint Thorny!!

Astute-one minute slating sisu, next minute kissing their asses. How sad. Make your mind up chap.

Its not a case of that though it's just accepting what you have and at least be pleased that they are now developing a strategy for the club.

But things have been poor sometimes improve. Personally I never been a Rush fan. However, I have just downloaded their latest album and it's rather good.

I am very happy with my personal life. Why should I risk what I have to try and better what I am happy with?

We used to have a club with a decent enough ground. OK,we were always near the bottom, but were not financially in the shite. We risked our future to try and bring in more success and to have a better stadium. It went tits up big time. Did greed do us good?

I am hoping we have about reached the bottom. Whilst we are still financially in the shite it would be unwise to throw money about we don't have. So we have to sell players each season. We have for many years. As long as they are replaced we are not still going backwards. We have only signed 3 so far, but at least they can all be decent signings. Being realistic will improve our future. Or would you prefer to do a Pompey? Being realistic is not sucking up to SISU. When we are financially viable there is a better chance of getting rid of them. Yes we need a few more players, but we need to keep our finances more under control even more. Free signings on lower wages until our income goes up is the best way to go.

You two faced sod. You've made yourself look a right mug.

At times you used to at least raise a smile with your stupid comments. Now you just look plain stupid.

People like you that always want more normally end up with nothing.

They want out. We want them out. They would be better off investing in what they know. We would be better off being run by people that know what they are doing. At least it looks like we have someone making decisions that knows the way football works.

Income will not go up unless we regain Championship status. In order to do that a competitive squad needs to be assembled, and a fair outlay is needed to get us to that stage. It's a very delicate balancing act and in Waggott there seems to be someone who understands how to maximise what we can do in the transfer market.

Yeah we all want them out , did my bit during the SOC and all that, but tough love ,if it works /comes off ?You have been feeling confident for the coming season recently,Why would we get rid, agreed they want out ,thats what Fishers here for ,but could take some time.

So in what way am I a loser? In what way are you better or even doing better than me? Two faced? At least I have a mind of my own. If I see something good I will say. Same as for the bad things I see. Things could be better. For instance we could be in a position where we don't have to sell players every season. Things could also be worse. For instance you could be a neighbour or relative of mine.

I will never feel at ease whilst run by venture capitalists who's sole aim is to make money out of us. I want is to be run by people who put our club before profits. I am not on about making a loss, just not selling because they can. At the moment we need to sell. It is more important though to slowly and cheaply build a team that can do well and bring the fans back.

Income can go up this season if we can put a good run together. I fully agree we need promotion. But it needs to be done on a budget. At least the clubs in this division also have smaller budgets.

Of course a good season will bring added revenue from increased gates-but the gap in commercial revenue between the Champs and L1 is such that we really need to be gunning for a swift return.
