Baka and Pask are staying according to Robins. With Giles going back there isn’t a pressure to move players on.

We are saved...

Keeping Bakayoko and Pask is Fantastic news Pask could be a good thing as he has potential but Bakayoko are you sure yeah we dont have anymore strikers fit but I would rather Bremang than Baka and I thought Baka would surprise a few this season
Have you ever seen Bremang play. Baka is a fantastic player as is Pask.

I see that the Ross County manager is saying that as Giles has gone back to Wolves, we want to take their left back, Josh Reid, now (i.e. not let him return to them for the rest of the season)

Personally I don’t see how this is ‘good news’

We need players who can do a job, these players we have deemed not good enough for championship football, move them on and bring in other players who could ‘potentially’ do a job with funds we’d free up.

There’s a bit of tongue and cheek in my post ...

That's idealistic though.

Who's available on a free in January that's:
A) Better than what we have
B) On same/less money
C) Good enough to be first choice even when everyone else is fit or content to be 4th/5th choice?

Good and bad I guess, but we must have been paying wolves a good wedge to save 2 players leaving as for baka I'm not sure that's a good move with Victor coming in. Pask I can understand as the potential is still there also in the limited games he's been involved he's not been really poor but average compared to everyone else on the pitch.

In my opinion Robins has to keep Bakayoko until the end of the season no news yet on the return of Walker or Godden, Max apparently got a dodgy knee and the as yet unknown re. new boy Viktor.

Victor needs to show some ability tommorow as its a tough game and we need to score. Baka will be on the bench I think and if he gets a chance needs to show more than he has so far, even a substitute showing as he is in the last chance saloon.
