Not really on top of the game
Let Forest players influence him
Gave a foul throw (Rarely done) missed about another half dozen
Waited way to long to call back after advantage(s)
Was looking right at the player that kicked Hamer and took no action (Hamer probably deserved a yellow from that)

Overall rating 5

Poor not just from him but his senior assistant aswell. On a couple of occasions didn’t really work as a team. There was an occasion first half where they missed an obvious Forest corner and gave a goal kick-very basic.
Decided eventually to give a foul throw but in my opinion should have been a couple of others that were very borderline. He’s not alone though as I’ve seen others not give them this season.
I guess he didn’t see the Hamer incident as there is no way that he wouldn’t have give a red card for VC to the Forest player after the blatant kick out at Hamer who himself, again if seen should have had a caution.

Only a 5 I’m afraid.

Didn't think there were any huge decisions he got completely wrong. Kick on Hamer is a difficult one, the guy meant it but he's made sure his momentum carried it through so hard for the ref to call. No major issues tonight.

I did notice the lino was out of position a lot and leaving some decisions to the ref. I decided not to include it and leave the thread about the ref but you’re right communication is his responsibility as well.
There’s no way he missed the Hamer incident. If you watch again he’s staring straight at them and signals to play on. I was sure he would go back to the incident
and book Hamer and either red or yellow for the Forest player.

Yes I’ll have to see it again-I know he was close so am puzzled if he did miss it.
