Can we hire better product designers for the tat in the shop? What about a revenue share with independent designers who could submit stuff to be sold in the shop?

We’ve got lots of talented designers in the fan base (as well as that bloke who made the Robins flag).

The commercial side of ccfc is really delivered by a tiny number of people who are not paid huge amounts and do a phenomenal job but links can and should be explored. Mark Hornby and Tynan Scope pretty much cover everything

Don’t know how we’d manage if we had 20000 plus attendances at the Ricoh to contend with. It’s why if we agree Ccfc if not the enemy then working together to get the best possible team on the pitch id a complete no brainer

Also it’s wrong that I buy no merch from the club and get it all from third parties because it tends to be better designed or better quality.

Nick could stick a few t-shirts on the website, Evo some of his photo edits as prints, that sort of thing. I dunno.

Well it’s a bit like the captain of a cruise ship proudly showing off a newly furnished upper deck but not bothering to repair a great hole in the bottom

Still this like a club not owner thing so questions about the ground etc are not going to be answered - not that they would be anyway

On that note...

This season, they've got less out of me cash-wise as they made a thing about season tickets being converted to real, when people were allowed back into stadia which, at one stage, seemed like it might happen September/October time. It means games like yesterday's I miss because I'm doing something else, whereas they had the chance to get the money off me up front regardless.

Can I make an appeal for an ifollow season ticket, that's guaranteed to be used all through the season?

Guess that'll be an EFL decision, or beyond. Where is the 3pm Saturday rule set?

Would imagine there's half a chance for next year, certainly at the start of the season.

I assume the ifollow decision (post fans coming back) does not belong to the club but the EFL, but they (and I am sure the clubs will) have the ability to lobby them. The only issue is how funds can be distributed.

Away ST at the very least. Then home fans won’t bother cos you’d have to buy every other ST, and it shouldn’t hurt attendances.

See if we're back to 'normal' and at St Andrews, I couldn't make most games. I also really didn't fancy popping along when they were talking about relaxing it this season.

I'd have paid a bit more than the standard season ticket for guaranteed streamed games over the course of the season, however.

Nothing beats actually being there.

They need to start thinking of it like buying the live album, or going to a gig. There's room for both.

No news yet from the EFL - will no doubt continue for overseas fans, but I expect for in the U.K. we’ll have to wait to see how the easing of lockdown goes and when fans return to stadiums fully

have asked about the club being supportive and our interest in away I follow memberships to benefit the club financially

On iFollow - could we get an update on how much the match passes etc have raised for the club so far? And an idea of virtual game attendances?

Obviously you'll have households watching on 1 match pass but at least gives an idea of support fans are providing in monetary terms, and would be great to increase awareness of that amongst the fanbase.

Still think there’s a wider conversation about monetising casual/overseas fans better than we do. The club has so much unrealised value in simple things like signed merch, mystery boxes, zoom calls with players, that would cost little but form the basis of a good subscription service interweaved with the traditional offerings.

Those in charge have the same mindset that we've seen in things like the music and movie industries. They believe everyone streaming is a lost ticket sale when the vast majority wouldn't go anyway. How many fans can't go to away games? If the club said I could watch all away matches for £250 every season I'd be handing over the money without a second thought.

Well when fans are let in again (which doesn’t look likely this season) and if we are still playing at St Andrews next season I will only be going to away games only as was the case all last season too as I’m sure you are aware.

That’s entirely different though from an official marketing live streaming service for games. It’s targeting people who go to games at that point - it has to have some impact on attendances

How about somebody who lives in Barnard Castle? How about somebody with childcare difficulties? How about elderly and immobile?

And of the wavering fans, what better way to encourage them to actually go than to show them what they're missing? It doesn't match the fully live experience, it just tries to replicate it. What better way to inspire an apathetic teenager whose parents won't take them but will shell out for streaming, to get a season ticket themselves when they're able to?

And if it's that big a deal, make it more expensive than an actual season ticket.

Problem is you have multiple people in one home watching the game. You’d never be able to charge the cost of 5/6 tickets.
