Expecting a loss, be happy with anything else
I don't think that's too outrageous a statement. This is where we're at and I think the majority acknowledge that.
What has it come to tho when the anticipation of a point via a goalless draw leaves me with sweaty palms and feeling slightly giddy?

though it makes sense to sign a loan player as a striker and leave in a player who has a dire scoring record

In the end this is a big game and I agree this is now time for the manager to show his decision making is going to deliver results

He has delivered results? By far one of the 3 weakest teams & 3 lowest budgets yet not been in the bottom 3 since October.
That might change over the coming weeks but still a long, long way to go.

A win today, although I'm not confident... Would be huge

They will play for set pieces all day long. We just need to not give too many away. I understand why he's picked Allen, with O'Hare scampering around 3 big centre halves - the Cardiff back 3 would much sooner mark big lumps than little 'uns - let's hope it works for us.

Classic. Get those Robins out seeds planted pre game.

I hardly bother with pre game posts - you on the other hand with incredible hyperbole big everything up with the inevitable failure about to happen

We may scrape a win today - we need to

Id play Mcfazdean as I think he works well in a back 3 and I’d play the Swedish guy ahead of biamou. If walker can’t start you’d take a chance on the Rochdale guy even with 2 upfront if he has pace

lose this have and storm clouds are gathering
What a drama queen

He’s paid to over achieve his league position - we need to survive in this league and if we don’t we are fucked

They will use the long throw. Something we should be using more effectively with Sam.

Robins: Two promotions, a league win (and a tinpot cup).

Grendel "It's time for the manager to deliver results"
Yea I agree with some of what Grendel says about football, but his opinions of Robins I've never quite understood.
As supporters we've had pretty much nothing to shout about since 87, we had a decent season in 97 where our away form prevented European football, but besides that it often been dreadful... Robins does something no man has since Jimmy Hill and some people still don't really like him... Hard for me personally to understand

Just Curious. Which wins this season didn't you think were huge?
A win today would be huge in relation to our recent form, gradual slide towards the bottom 3 and for the players mentality coming up to a tough 3 or 4 matches

Cardiff weren't too clever last time we played them... if we stifle the supply to Kiefer Moore I think we can get a positive result here.

Main thing for me is not rushing Walker back in to action too early even if things don't go well today. If his injury flares up again we will be in real trouble.

If we had Pep in charge some on here wouldn't like him

Pitch looking good considering. Hopefully we play it on the ground to our strengths as it will suit us
